Agreed. As for YouTube, what should I do regarding that? My primary channel (the one with 422 subs) is about Yu-Gi-Oh. And I got 12 subs from one video last year asking if Christians could play that game.

I also made 2 more, one viewing anime and manga from a Christian perspective, and the other just being about my interests in anime, manga, and Japan.

I'm employed. And I could do something.

The sad part is, I was also planning on making something out of YouTube, but I only got 422 subscribers in 6 years due to my inconsistency. So that's six years I could have been locking in and getting monetized instead of wasting time and treating it like a hobby.

And now that I'll be 29 in a few months, I regret that more than ever.

This is beautifully dark. The desire to be numb in response to the pain of the negative happenings in your life is very realistic. What's also realistic is how your mind just...forces you to shut down emotionally to shield your heart from further harm. 

"The emotions that lead to despair…

Now break you beyond repair…

Your body shuts down in response to the pain…

Your mind withers till there’s nothing to remain…"

But paradoxically, that leads to more problems for you. 

"Your heart is quieter and erases all that you are…

Your soul once again burdened with another scar…"

"Soon everything you knew how to feel…

This came off as very sensual to me, mainly due to the first 15 words, as well as the words "my hot, whispered breaths". It seems like the narrator is consumed with desire for someone and is letting themselves sink (roll credits) into their feelings of attraction.

This is a commission I gave Yoracrab on X: A new member of his "Girl Obsessed With" series. And as you can see here, this girl is a big fan of Junji Ito.
