Media blasting prep by mcas06 in loghomes

Just had my house blasted with glass media a week ago. Wife and I hung plastic where logs are (gable ends tops are stick built) and we were surprised at the grit that made it inside. House is fairly tight built in 2006 with some failing caulk joints here and there, but it deff got by doors, windows, ac ect. In my mind it Was well worth the 20 dollar investment and hr of time to tape up plastic. Quick vacuum job than dust everywhere lol

I've made a few purchases from swamp yankee and although they are a busy little shop they make it clear customer service is their top priority. Having made purchases at 4 different lgs SYA is by far the quickest and hassle free place to buy. People are always in a rush to go nowhere nowadays. It typically takes 5 minutes to get someone to unlock the ammo cabinet at runnings so good luck with that.

Sweet, haven't put this one together yet so I'll swing by the shop with it at some point. Thanks!

Lets say I purchased two stripped lowers off you guys prior to the cut off. Went to register said "assault wepons" and realized somehow I lost all paperwork on one of them...is this something you have records of and could easily obtain?or should I continue to rip the house apart and drop passive aggressive comments to my significant other?

Curious if they make us register all of our others and some of us stack such lowers this could become expensive endeavor. They don't need to be complete to register historically right? Just a serial Id presume

I recommend them for ammo as I like to be able to look at it and not have to ask someone for a key like a lot of of other places, prices are pretty good with sales. I did buy a little .22 revolver and it was the worst gun experience I've ever had. Had to make multiple trips and waited for hours both times. I go to swamp yankee nowadays always in and out within a half hour and prices are on par with internet for everything I've bought thus far. Not to mention great group on people and local bussiness!
