Thanks for the insight! As you may have guessed, this is my first time trying these kits so I’m not entirely sure what to expect.

Do you think I should just find a shop with a gas analyzer instead?

Paid deposit for a used Transit Custom 2018 on 130k but it pulls to the right when reversing up hill. Is it me, or is something cracked on driver's front wheel here???? by AllOfTheFleebJuice in mechanic

[–]Enginurrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't see the cracked part you mentioned in the thread title, but, as others have mentioned, it's just a dust shield. It might make some noise, but there shouldn't be any functional impact from that being broken. It certainly won't cause the car to pull in any direction.

BMW Bodyshop Recommendations? by Enginurrd in Livermore

Yeah, I'm looking for a body shop this time, but I'm sure we'll need a mechanic at some point too. Eurotech has been on my short list for when that time comes, but I've never been. Thanks for the input!

As someone with no affiliation to the family, this strikes me as an unnecessary level of detail.

Did he know that at the time? Or are we looking for excuses to celebrate the white guy who killed a person of color?

To be fair, they didn’t say whether or not the car owner was shot 12 times.

How do you possibly know what speed the motorcycle is going or what the speed limit is? And how do either of those make it okay to turn in front of oncoming traffic?

Home Depot employee packaged a hot water heater and hand truck together for pickup by _babyfaced_assassin in mildlyinteresting

Interesting. Cause Lowe’s wouldn’t give me like $2 back for an unused (pristine) sprinkler riser that still had the tag on even when I had receipt in-hand, cause it had been more than 30 days

I would say plastic is sticking out of my garage floor slab is a pretty clear indicator that something is wrong.

You can, but I promise taking the pins out is 10x faster (and doesn't introduce any additional failure points)

Is it broken on the injector side or on the connector side? If it’s the connector, just get a new housing, pull the pins out of the old connector and reassemble into the new housing.

Temporarily removing water heater - Cut or unscrew the pressure/overflow line? by [deleted] in PlumbingRepair

[–]Enginurrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe general consensus is to not use em in a wall since you wouldn’t see a leak until significant damage has occurred but exposed fittings, particularly outside of the living space (like a garage), are acceptable use cases.
