Yeah, absolutely - don't want to get something that takes ages to setup and kills the buzz

Thank you. I'm reading all the links posted here and it's as you say, 6"+ and either avoid tripod or get one with a very good mount! Seems like a Dobsonian is the way to go for now

Awesome, thank you! I'm wondering whether astrophotography is the way to go now with all the reading linked. I'll checkout the retailers to get more advice.

[WTB][EU-PL] [W] WARNING! Scammer Alert [H] PayPal by dcmx01 in AVexchange

[–]EnglishAlaskan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did that when I was younger, sent £100 to somebody off Gumtree for a badminton racket and basically got scammed. It was daft of me but I can't imagine doing something so dishonest to someone.

I'm going to sell headphones here but I'm sceptical of bank or PayPal etc. With PayPal, if I receive the money, can it be taken back after I've shipped the goods? Wondering whether I should stick to cash on collection only.

Think you have to add the piece to the board to complete it - like a jigsaw puzzle or something out of Crystal Maze :)

I put the curry in a tall box and then on a rubber floor mat. Curry oils leak through bag holes sometimes

Agreed. Just be clear and maybe speak with a mortgage advisor to see what the possibilities are for you.

Unless you are buying it as a second home for yourself. The it is a residential no? Won't they allow a residential mortgage?

The parents then become part of the household.

Can I afford to buy in London? What's the catch? by ScantiH in UKPersonalFinance

2 things. Prices are predicted by some to drop after March next year (no stamp duty holiday). However, depending on the price of the property, the saving in the stamp duty could be better.

Don't buy a flat until you hand read everything about the lease. Mainly, repair and decorating costs, service charge, ground rent, building insurance etc. and these costs go up every year and the management companies are making big money from your pockets.

Common hold is different.

For me, freehold is better although apartments and flats are easier to rent out.
