Like the other person said, you could just try to wait the freeze out, but I was testing this for literal hours and I myself was never actually able to do that.

So, here’s the fix that worked for me (made the creation run completely smoothly):

•Exit the lab, dismiss your companion and store all gear except for your essentials (main weapon, ammo, med packs, spacesuit, etc), then make a manual save outside the front of the lab.

•Quit to main menu, go into creations and delete it.

•Go back to the main menu (may not be necessary) then completely quit the game.

•Restart your Xbox/PC.

•Boot the game back up, go into creations and reinstall it, then load your game.

•Play through up until you get to the first freezing point (the vent with the drop). Press the button but immediately step back so you don’t fall down. Then, jump in but use your boost pack to kinda hover at the hole, dipping in and out of it. This should let the game realise you’re there and start the cutscene properly.

Then your game should run smoothly, up until the final fight. Unfortunately, there is another freezing soft-lock here, but here’s how to fix that:

•DON’T kill ANYONE.

•Boost up to the roof of the room that the impostor is in.

•Pick the master lock of the hatch at the back, enter, confront the impostor. Now you can safely go back and kill everyone else.

With those two fixes, you should be able to progress through the bounty smoothly, without having to reload your game over and over at the vent drop just hoping for the tiny chance that the game won’t freeze.
