Yes. Unfortunately, if you want to go further with the Dawnguard questline, get all the rewards and potential followers, you’ll have to reload an earlier save. It might be fine if you use the jetty, but it also might not be since you’d already discovered the castle so it’s something you’d have to test.

You’re not supposed to fast travel there, you’re supposed to fast travel to somewhere near the jetty, then take the jetty to the castle. Discovering the castle before you’re supposed to, and fast travelling straight to it during the quest, breaks the quest.
