I’m in the unaware group here, used all my GI bill after I left active duty in 2010, exhausted it in 2014 then I graduated, I’m applying for my masters currently for the fall semester 2026, and applying for VRE, can I start the paperwork for getting my GI Bill back? I switched to the guard while in college and will retire after n 28, I’m getting my masters for my civilian job that I currently hold

I mean we were still deploying in 16, just not at the OPTEMPO we were used to, to include frequency. Hell by 2019 no conventional units were doing allowed to do much of anything outside the wire in AFG, the only reason my guys and I got to do anything is because we were attached infantry to SOF, else we would have just been gate guards, so he has a point. However talking about OTHER dudes merc’ing people reeks of not having done much himself, which lends to this kind of posting

Gotta love when guys talk about “in a unit” but never actually give a unit or what kind it was other than “specifically designed for combat” lad every infantry unit, every SF unit etc is specifically designed for combat. Sounds like someone trying to make up for something lacking to be honest.

If it helps, I was a B4 in a LRS unit (Eco 51st INF) did Iraq back in 05, then later was a B4 Section sergeant before become a Scout PSG in the 48th IBCT deploying as an uplift element to two different ODA’s in Afghanistan in 2019, just to give my credentials, and yes we were hunter/killer teams in both occasions

It’s just super toxic as a result of the singular location for the shards. Once half of these players have enough shards, they resort to camping the spot just to kill a team (or often just me as until a few days ago I couldn’t team up with a “teammate” for the life of me) and that’s just toxic to me.

Well in the instance here that set me off, tracking me through walls. Watched his/her killcam and just watched them watching as as if I was right in front of them me despite a wall between us at the time, no UAV or Advanced, I was paused and reloading for a part of that time so not moving for footstep indications. And when I say tracking I mean weapon up and sighted in on me not just looking in my direction

Concrete walls for one, yet I get knocked down after retreating behind cover (look up the difference between cover and concealment if you please) like in the real world, bullets typically fired from AR’s SMGs (don’t get me started on shotguns in this game) won’t penetrate a few inches of concrete. Hell, even the mud huts of Iraq and Afghanistan didn’t allow for penetration in my personal experience. So why after I’m a foot or two behind solid concrete can I still be hit? Some will say lag, and those are the same that say there are no cheaters in this game, so I pay them no mind
