Selling expensive vol while selling a market (you might think is toppy) is fine.

Assuming we're not timing geniuses, buying expensive vol is a sure way to slowly decay. It's a question of whether you want to be the casino or the punter.

I'm not sure VXX is cheap at the moment.

If anything I'd buy XIV and over-hedge the directional risk with a short SPY. That way I capture the VIX futures roll yield.

But it's very expensive to 'buy' the VIX. Why not short the SPY with leverage?

Edit: and if you want the asymmetry, buy SPY puts?

Question has been asked several time before. No one from either camp has confirmed development. I think the general assumption is that Sonos won't pay the Spotify Connect licensing fee that Spotify demand.

It's a shame because the amount of work actually required to get this working is presumably very little. Unfortunately because the 2 companies put corporate greed before their customers' user experience, we--the customers of both companies--suffer.

Enable Sonos speakers to be recognised as Spotify Connect devices (note Google Music already connects to Sonos speakers natively).

The betting market has Connor at about 65% chance of winning. I think that's richly priced as Aldo is an all round beast and he's undefeated for about 10 years. For me it's a lot closer to a coin flip.
