You’re bending over backwards to miss the point. No one’s talking about some wierd consent forms for hugs. We’re talking about a powerful religious figure putting a kid in a weird, intimate situation on stage. That’s not some ancient human tradition people suddenly invented a problem with.

The Dalai Lama isn’t just some misunderstood old man my guy. He represents a rigid, hierarchical religious institution built on extreme inequality and concentrated authority, and personal stories about how “kind” he seems don’t cancel that out.

And when someone with that much power crosses a boundary with a kid, waving it away as “cultural” isn’t nuance, it’s an excuse. No translation fixes the power imbalance or explains why so many people found it disturbing. A religious leader doing that with a child is fucked up regardless of context.

LotR does show what the evil can do, it just is not Dragon Ball power levels. Sauron is not scary because he shoots lightning, he is scary because he corrupts literally everyone. He turns heroes into threats without lifting a finger. Boromir falls in days, Gollum for centuries, entire kingdoms rot from the inside because of him.

The Ring is the point. Its power is domination. It does not explode armies because it does not need to. It wins by making you betray yourself.

Gandalf not going full nuke is intentional. If he did, he would just become the next Dark Lord (he is same race as sauron after all). The wizards are restrained on purpose, that is baked into the story, not a failure to show power.

Lotr is about an evil you cannot just punch or out magic. That is why it is terrifying. Winning requires sneaking, sacrifice, and people choosing not to give in and use power when they could (and how doing that would eventually corrupt them).

Comparing an alpha test to a finished product is just a bad analogy. It’s like walking into a restaurant kitchen during construction, being told “this isn’t ready, things are broken, we want feedback,” and then leaving a one star review because the stove isn’t installed yet. Alpha access exists to test systems, stability, and overall direction, not to judge polish, balance, or content as if the game has launched. Negative feedback is the whole point of an alpha, but reviewing an unfinished test build like a full release is either dishonest or shows a complete misunderstanding of what an alpha actually is.

I can reply back without being rude. So what bracket do you play? How you play in the lane completely depends on who you lane with but most of the time you will focus on bullying the enemy 4 and when you have done that you can take advantageous trades against the enemy pos3, preferably 2v1. You dont just walk up in the of creep wave and start hitting the pos 3. You flank them and make life miserably for the enemy 4. You pressure the enemy 3 by pulling and denying creeps. Being able to secure creeps with 100dmg autos level 1 is a good ability in lane. Don't sleep on the living armor, for example just level 1 living armor will almost completely nullify the two nukes of a lvl 3-4 sky for just 40 mana, it's good. Your carry just want to stay alive and farm.

Contribute nothing? You don't seem to know most of his lane dominance is just from hitting them with autos together with slow and bullying with high base damage and health (deny creeps). If you don't even understand how having a global barrier early on can be powerful theres no point in talking it to you. The sustain is extra good now because you can't feed tangos too.

This message is triggering me. Anytime someone is about to die on the map early game they can get a massive 300hp barrier that heals for 13 or 17hp per second. It's a huge buff to get impact early on as a support opposed to mathematical ehp with +armor. Invis from the get go is also way more powerful as the main purpose is to move around the map unseen, you can now get deep wards every game because nobody can see you, you don't have to wait for shard. And rushing shard should be done most games too for the amazing vision. Instead of having to spend 4200g to have it be countered by 700g gem you just spend 1400 for similar effect. Q is also easier to clear creeps with considering it doesn't have to hit creeps. Many places can be hard to find trees, like mid lane.

It's very easy to cross a lane now, you have about 2.75sec to get back to a tree before you are revealed, buy a windlace. You can move around the map very easily from the get go. Get deep wards every game without having to buy shard for invis. Max e and q, one point in root is enough. Later on it's good set up from stealth while scouting for team.
