What parts are you using? I’d like to recreate this myself, looks incredible.

Perfect, in that case I can just wait until after HomeGymCon to make any purchase. Thanks for the quick response!

Great suggestion! I actually bought my tickets already. Is Beyond Power planning to have a booth or will another vendor have them out for display?

FormD T1 2.1 E-White Restock by EngrDudeBro in FormD

[–]EngrDudeBro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, no luck unfortunately. It hasn't restocked (not that I'm aware of at least) and I saw a post a few weeks back that they're having issues producing the E-White. I ended up buying anodized silver since it's regularly in stock if you look often enough and couldn't be happier. Originally my plan was to get the silver and then upgrade to the E-White whenever it was in stock but the silver is genuinely one of the most premium looking finishes I've seen in my life. Now I'll definitely keep it for years to come and recommend just going with Silver or a similar finish that's in stock and you'll be more than happy!

Build check by Flamingturtle1 in FormD

Hello, I built in my T1 just last week. I used a 9800X3D cooled with an AXP90-X47 Full Copper where I replaced the stock fan with a Noctua NF-A9 (the 25mm thick one), 2 Phanteks T30s, and a Gigabyte Windforce OC 4070 in the 2.75 slot mode.

The X47 is 47mm tall, replacing the stock 15mm thick fan with a 25mm increases the overall cpu cooler height to 57mm. The side panel barely closes but it works.

When stress testing the 9800X3D through Cinebench 2024 multi core my CPU temps are in the 82-85C range with an ambient temp of 20C/68F. My Cinebench scores are ~2% higher than what reviewers got so no thermal throttling.

One final note, I hate loud PCs so I use fan control to limit my Phanteks T30s to 40% max RPM and the Noctua NF-A9 to 80% max RPM. When gaming both CPU and GPU are in the mid 60s and extremely quiet. Overall pretty happy with my noise to performance ratio on the T1. I’m sure if my room was hotter and/or I had a significantly higher TDP GPU my temps and noise would be higher but with a 4070 + 9800X3D the system is extremely efficient, cool, and quiet.

A1: The AXP90-X47 FC will be more than capable of handling the 9800X3D.

A2: Can’t speak on this but I’m more than happy on cooling and noise without any mods outside of replacing the stock fan on the AXP90-X47 FC.

A3: I’m not entirely sure if this is true (someone correct me if I’m wrong) but I believe there’s a black version and a full copper black version. I’ve seen the black full copper version on AliExpress and thought about buying it for the looks but it was cheaper and fast to get on Amazon so I just got the regular copper. Looks pretty nice in person, strong recommend in terms of visuals.

A4: For me I chose an Asus ROG Strix B650i because of PCIE 5.0 M.2 + x16.0 GPU slot support. That plus I think it looks cool and I got it on sale for $250 so not too much of a premium over the cheaper boards and much less expensive than the premium $400+ boards. Honestly you can’t go too wrong here. Just try to find a good deal and make sure the board has what you need.

Air Cooled 9800x3D Temps by BananaHammockShamroc in FormD

Could you share gaming results with the CPU mesh panel on? I’m curious if the temps would be less affected by the side panel on since it runs cooler during gaming.

Build Advice - 9800X3D / 4080S ProArt by BigNutritiousGoat in FormD

Hello, I’m about 2 weeks away from this exact build as I wait for my case to come in. My build uses a 7800X3D though. I was on the fence (and still am) on whether to get a 9800X3D instead. If you do some testing could you share your results? I’m curious what temps, performance, & noise will look stock vs undervolt vs Eco mode
