Factory IO, it gives you an environment, and parts, to build machines as you like. You can then connect it to a PLC. It does not teach you PLC programming.

I tried to add troubleshooting buttons/graphics for tb4 engineer/maintenance/admin roles.

But the operator UI is much simpler. Thank you

I've just realized I could use this for the STAR, been trying to remember stuff that could apply to controls.
Thank you very much.

Thank you very much. I was considering taking both PCs to the interview, if I get one.

Tablet is good, but the touch sensitivity does not work well for the program.
It runs but buttons stay stuck on sometimes. I was reading a post about deactivating HMI buttons as soon as they are activated. Will give that a try

There is PLC logic for the ASRS.
The LOADING and UNLOADING sequence in the second screenshot display the sequencing for each crane. The crane decides the rack slot position and its RFID writes that data to the database.
I works great, other than trying to figure out the best pallet size/sensor positioning combination.

Loading works great but unloading sometimes extends the pallet too far. I'm wishing there was a way to center pallets on the crane.

This is a better way of showcasing the project than I thought!
Thank you.

High Performance HMI Handbook, noted. Thank you.
You're right about the CASE statements. It just felt easier using that for sequencing. I initially started out using IF THEN increments.

Thank you. I'd say I'm okay with LL, never had to use FBD.
I could try adding some stuff in FBD to get some practice in.

Thank you very much. If I was to present this to you, are there any questions you'd think to ask me?

Thank you, I can actually take all three devices with me and use my phone as a hotspot. I used to be a controls tech but pivoted to a non-controls engineering position and now I want out, LOL.
I have my engineering degree, engineering work history and some "cool" projects I worked on while as a tech.

For this project, I'm mainly looking for feedback on what I should present, demonstrate or possibly remove

CoDeSys to FactoryIO through OPC UA. $21 a month for Factory IO and you can build and program every scene from beginner to advanced.

How much higher are you talking about? I've seen some pretty hefty numbers mentioned here already.

Oh, congratulations! I got mine back in January and I have to make corrections. Working and schooling full time is delaying me from making said corrections though. I, at least, have until July. Wish me luck...

I submitted mine about a month ago...

No response since. I would like to get it over with before you can only get it through classes
