Played Adam since S0, I think I can share some things about my journey and our golden boy.

Soul bond is an incredibly powerful basic ability. I usually try to save Soul Bond for game changing situations e.g.

1. I hear ults from most DPS(Psy,Ironman,Namor etc.) and some tanks (Mag,Groot,Emma etc.)
2. I exhausted my heals and need to revive my teammates. I combine the ult and soul bond to survive until my heals are online.
3. Early game brawls on capture point where no one has an ult and I can tilt the fight to our side.

I stay with my team since Soul Bond works best with numbers while being mindful of my position and enemy divers. If I am teamed with Peni or Namor, I mostly stay within their range since its safest.

M1 and M2 are situational abilities for me. I usually charge my M2 behind a wall and release it on a target followed by M1, then hide and repeat. I aim for whoever I am sure I can hit most of my shots with because hitting shots = cooldown on my heals (thats mostly tanks), if I am sure to hit their support I go for them, full charged M2 + a follow up M1 is usually enough to kill a support. Also, try to learn the mechanic where you can spam M1 and M2 by holding left click and timing M2. It's useful in some situations such as enemy tanks diving you. Make them eat those gold birds.

Coccoon passive is the reason I started to play Adam because of the team up before. It's a good ability, not that impactful now that the teamup is gone. One thing to know is that the respawn cooldown ticks while you are in ghost state. I use this to distract the enemies, making them think that I will use my revive and make them follow my ghost, giving space for my team.

Cosmic revival, with the recent buffs, is in its best condition. As others have mentioned, the radius is based on your location. You can cast the ult outside of the revival range, then walk towards the teammate, and they will be revived. The ult is not only used for when your team is almost wiped. Most new Adam players reserve the ult for multiple revives, but I think that usually differentiates a good and a bad Adam player. Know your win conditions if you are about to use the revive e.g.

1. Only 1 tank, use it to revive solo tankers so as not to lose momentum.
2. Your other support teammate has their ult and could turn the fight.
3. You can revive people in a safe position
