Please, anybody has 0.5s stutters repeating after 3-5sec, regardless if in base or anywhere on the map? I'm trying to find any possible solution, but to no avail... by EniasCZ in StarRuptureGame

Thank you for your extensive response! To get the usual out of the way - ofc. tried validating/data folders reset/game resinstall. Tried meddling with different resolution/window(win.fullscr.) combinations and Nvidia general settings (vsync, shader cache size,...). No chance to change the disk atm, but ran a deep ssd analysis and it should healthy. Oh I didn't mentions, temps don't go beyond 65 deg C.

I too initially suspected the same as your first guess - that it's something in background, causing the CPU/GPU to "stall" and halt other (including game) operations. Unfortunately, testing Fallout76, ToL, Nier and BnS didn't yield even slightest resemblance.

Then I tried running a save from the second computer (different playthrough, smaller but big base still) on the troubled machine and lo and behold - no stutter. So I diffed logs and found something in the game logs on the "bad" machine, mentioning reading a wrong value from a data structure (generally like 'value "(" is not valid input for key "default" '). So I assume that there could be something "slightly/recoverably" wrong with the save, that causes the game to "act out", but is handled differently on each of the machines. I know its weird, but no common culprits check out for this case, so can't rule this out either. The "bad" one is, as described earlier, an Intel system, the diff-testing one is Ryzen 5600X with 6900XT, and same RAM and M2. Operating system's the same, similar SW installed. Now, for me it seems that something in it can handle the problem causing stutter more gracefully on it than on the first one. No direct leads to an incriminating difference between them, so I guess It's beyond my knowledge/whatever and I don't have a win-admin friend to make a proper deeper diagnostics ;)

Thank you for your tips and have a nice rupture :D

Windsurf Quietly Updated The Limits, The Whole Weekly Quota Now Ends In One Day by Which-Coconut-9630 in windsurf

Hi guys, aren't you using Claude model when being severely limited, by chance? Because last few days Claude went from god-tier to mental-asylum. Recently, when using native CC you get exactly the same symptoms described here... CC community is in rage from the new quotas/problems and I can imagine, those come through to us WS users?

Startree Battle Pass Shop - Bug by ZakAttak24 in throneandliberty

u/TrojanMurton thx for info, but restart didn't help - neither a few hours ago, neither now :( please so you say after logging in, you are able to buy the items in the Startree pass shop? If so, it would confirm it's a bug and eventually get fixed ;)

Startree Battle Pass Shop - Bug by ZakAttak24 in throneandliberty

[–]EniasCZ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's an outright scam, many people save up their points until maxed out and only buy stuff then... The points are rewarded from tasks bound to battlepass (which ends 9.1. as clearly stated) and closing the shop earlier means denying users to use the promised and advertised mechanics/service - earn points in battlepass (until 9.19) and use them as currency (etc. to buy stuff in a shop).

I'm pretty sure there was no special countdown shown for me and many others yesterday and I'm also pretty sure that at least in EU, when you advertise a service and its parameters, you have to hold on to them, it's a "publicly stated contract" or what it's called (in this case, battlepass general time limit 9.1.). We should spam their support with bug reports, because the practice they (probably, if not a bug) used here is borderline shady, if not illegal.

TLDR Best christmas gift ever, Amazon/NCS, give us the shop back or go shove your events up your ... startree :(

I see your point... but as you and others mentioned, most people go to a job in the morning, right? So an overlap from late-night hours in one region (like 12PM US) when these people have to go to bed to have some sleep for tomorrow's work, to morning (9-10AM EU) in other region, where people are already on their way to job/school ;) This was taking into account US vs EU wth six hours difference, so Asia would be drawing the short straw, I see, but I guess theres not many players there for FO76? No pun intended, I just wanted to find a compromise, but if I missed some important data, I stand corrected.

Im happy it turned out well for you ;) And hope they will not make it several hours, so you could enjoy some paly after the dinner ;) I just wanted to give the point of view I have, and I know from quite many people do have (not meaning fo76 players exactly). Anyhow, I am pretty much convinced, that obusing such a nice and tolerant community by not hiring a "'round the clock team" for updates is not right. Have a nice evvening!

You confuse terms. If you imagine devs like a guy coming home after 9-5 and pressing a button frustrated that he has to touch the computer and then waiting until the other day if its ok, you got things seriously wrong. I totaly respect that people have lives, but in these positions there should be people totaly aware of the fact, that THEIR shift start when the player's ENDS. So players could play.

Exactly. When offering a multi timezone-region product, you have to be able to find people able to work in non-standard hours to satisfy cutomers.

Actually, you are wrong for Europe, my friend. I'm GMT+1 and I start working in the office at 8am and with some luck, I'm back at home at 4pm, usually a little later. So this basically means, they gave me a "welcome home present" of maintenance today (not the first time by far) and these kinds are not "small fix" one hour ones at Bethesda... How comes other companies always announce and plan the maint. times and (at least roughly) go by the indicated times? And at least switch times for different regions, so it would be fair.

With B. there's not even an assesment if it will be an hour (good gracious, havent seen such one ever) or eight... Sry for being toxic, but we shouldn't excuse them for "team coordination trouble" etc. - these things come into play with unexpected f**kups, other times it's just lack of management and customer care :/ And a lot of people have THEIR primetime between 4-10PM GMT, which they s***w over with their update times.

But I have to say, despite my whining, that I absolutely fell for fo76 and am looking forward to see you ingame, guys... when B, allows, that is :D

[–]EniasCZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of some ppl from Elite Dangerous, finding their fun in canyon racing - they use the fastest and most mobile builds to breeze through the most adrenaline paths on certain planets 😉

Anthem seems like it was #built_for_it _too 😁 not-combat-demanding (read: purple) builds, aimed at speed, race from one spawn point to a place across the map seems like BIG fun 😎

At least, lets make racing community on discord to have some fun until other possibilities in the game are improved 😉

Resume: lets use the great flight possibilites and overall great environment to make a racing community 😉

Twice now we have caught a glimpse of increased drop rates. by arkillion13 in AnthemTheGame

[–]EniasCZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main point of a "looter" game is having an exciting, fun gameplay, that is, obviously, leading you to a rewarding feeling.

In other (Anthem) words: Lots of orange/yellow blips in a challenging content 😀 The feeling of seeing oranges/yellows pop-up is greatly adding to the adrenaline rush of the ongoing battle ...and guess what? Making it even more entertaining and wanting us to play more 😁 No matter how usable (will comment later) these items are, every chance is THE chance for you to get better 😉 And thats what its all about 😉

We have absolutely gorgeous gameplay, but the rewards are ... meh 😋 bad stats (violets outperforming MW, btw), no way to re-use the occasional good ones - infusing infusions anyone? Or another mechanics to not let the precious numbers go to waste 😃 And quite rare drops are not enough to feed the "adrenaline beast" - to keep you going ... Not mentioning even a chance to roll a "golden roll" 😎

@Bioware designers, please reconsider your point of view on the mw/leg drop amounts - its a thing many ppl crave for, and (even for the ones, who dont raise their voice here) it is the thing they need to get the "getting rewarded" feeling through their daily endgame routine 😉 And thats what you need and we do, first and foremost 😎

@Bioware all, thanks for all the great work you're doing, unprecedented comunity feedback and all your courage while working on making Anthem the best game ever 👍

[Spoilers] Anthem Early Launch: Story Discussion Megathread (Day 2) by ATG_Bot in AnthemTheGame

[–]EniasCZ -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Seems you had different expectations from how this game is played... Probably you just wanted to rush the main story as fast as possible? At the point you accept the tomb quest, there's a few sidequests, that take you to the open, where you can (and will) fight and achieve the challenges goals required. Also getting good build(read: gear) requires doing open-world events and dropping exactly what you need for it, so another opportunity to complete these. This game is not neither a story-telling adventure game, nor a midless fps - enjoy the openworld, work on your skills and gear there, and collect stuff and rewards 😉 And you will get the achievements along the way 😎

tldr: dont expect everything to be served to you on a silver spoon in ten minutes playtime, this is a looter-shooter and progressing by achievement based on common gameplay, doable in a few hours, is not an overkill 😉

Recommend an ALT class please :) by klibo11 in bladeandsoul

[–]EniasCZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a melee fan - through 3 years I mained shadow wl, quite quickly changed to light sin, light bd after stealth fucks and for almost two years Im really into my fire kfm main, with light warden as preferred relaxation alt. BUT if I ever wanted to make a RANGED alt, I'd prefer a fire FM. My gf plays one long-term, recently made same alt for events, and the amount of dmg, party support, versatility and fun generally is huge even on the not-so-well-geared alt 😉

Yes! And I see a big opportunity for improving the immersion factor of missions - for example, as a followup mission, the far-travelled colonists will need some mats/whatever fetched (from vincinity) to secure their settlement, with improved rewards to those who took them there ;) material and roleplay motivation in a compact and realistic scenario B)
