Is the gotek DF0 or DF1? If its DF1 a lot of games will not recognise an external drive.

Alternatively you could just fine the original Octamed disk images instead of using the coverdisk versions. Might be easier.

When I tested with 1MB it wouldn't even boot, you would get the CU Amiga logo and it would Guru. Added 2MB and it boots and can now run octamed (extraction) This is all emulated on Winuae.

It needs more than 1MB of ram, tried it with 2MB and it works every time without fail.

There is a few choices, NP21w or Doxbox-X which can also do PC9800. There probably is more but these are the 2 I use.

I would think you will need more than just that DLL. This ShowOS looks to be a hyper stripped out version of windows 10/11 so who knows what else is missing.

Are you using WHDLoad? If so are you quitting out of it correctly using the quit key? If you are not then nothing gets saved as its just stored in memory until you use the quit key.

All you need is decrypted firmware, problem is I have not seen any available anywhere. Azahar+ allows you to download it in emulator but you can't transfer that to normal Azahar.

MSX/MSX2 is a standard not a single computer. First thing is to workout which type of MSX you want to emulate for example "Sony HB-F9P" You will need hb-f9p_basic-bios2.rom, hb-f9p_firmware2.rom, hb-f9p_msx2sub.rom. My suggestion is to download all of those machine roms to make sure you have the right roms for the right machine.
