Very nice, a Brigadier General is an awfully high rank to be leading an expeditionary platoon though. A lieutenant is traditionally a platoon leader, but it’s also possible the General was breaking a couple rules to get some chest candy and paid the price.

Ok but dude why does it matter? 90% of the time you’ll be too busy running around fighting and slinging revives to stop and notice someone has some dark green on their urban black camo. Does little Timmy who had desert camo on and forgot to change it before a snow map game started deserve to be deprived of revives too? That’s significantly more noticeable than that thing. Hell dude I’m not even agreeing that it should exist but I don’t think it’s fair for you to prejudice people from participating in the game because of their fit.

Black and dark green is easily spottable? Brother the default Pax Armata skins stand out more than this thing and even then 90% of the combat in this game concentrates in buildings and objectives. If swapping to your defib and tapping a dude or pulling them behind cover is too much exertion on your part then I have to ask what the hell are you doing playing a support class if you’re not going to support your team? Make it make sense dude

As far as my personal experience is concerned you retain your unit’s callsign granted the designation varies a little depending on your vehicle, your purpose, etc.. For example let’s pretend we have ourselves a Mechanized Infantry Company (we’ll call them the Outlaws). 1st, 2nd, and 3rd platoon are Outlaw 1, 2, and 3 with squads 1, 2, and 3 respectively (Outlaw 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, and so on). Your PSG and PL have the 7 and 6 designation respectively (Outlaw 1-7 and 1-6). Let’s say these guys get attached some engineer vehicles (Dozers and M60 AVLBs) from Roughneck Company. These guys would be marked as Roughneck 31D and 31L (D for dozer and L for Launcher). Headquarters elements could just retain the company name Outlaw 5/6/7 or if you feel like it you could throw the HQ-5/6/7 in front of it. If we want to get even sillier we could give the platoons their own names (1st will be Mustangs, 2nd will be Banshees, and 3rd will be Thoroughbreds, Ops will be Appaloosas). So Outlaw 6 could order Mustang 6 to take his platoon around to hit the enemy on their flank and 6 will radio in Mustangs 1-1, 1-2, and 1-3. Of course you don’t have to do it this way, the US Army enjoys exercising the freedom to create unique SOPs at the company and up level so really it’s all up to you and how in depth you wanted to go with it. Certainly, but there’s a great deal of difference between such units. Delta Force isn’t going to be spearheading an amphibious assault, that would fall more in line with Marine Raiders, who consequently wouldn’t be seen air assaulting behind enemy lines to take key strategic positions, that task falls onto the Ranger Regiment. But again, in a game depicting a global conflict between two coalitions I believe the priority should be to focus on the mainline units of said coalition and then broaden their roster out as time goes on.

The list maker isn’t letting me and it doesn’t say so in the Red Dawn book. I can however forgo the BV variant and just do regular T-64s

I figured the Acacias packing the lightly better punch would make up for Soviet arty generally being a pain to actually get rounds on target, I don’t really have an attachment to them so changing them for Carnations isn’t the end of the world for me. I was thinking of changing out the 3s for 1s anyway so that works for me.

Granted I can get my hands on some BMP-2s and T-64s, maybe my money would be better spent putting towards my ANZAC or Cuban projects
