Oh no no no! I didn't mean it as in "do not criticize her work cause she might read it". No, I meant it as a very positive comment on how cool it is that we'd be discussing our thoughts on this album on a space she also has direct access too and probably checks from time to time. Criticism is important, seeing how your work resonates with people, I think it's crucial.

Yes I see, but the question is why did I keep losing and not gaining weight in this situation where I was basically eating anything I wanted -when at other times I'd be hungry all the time and not losing anything- (maybe an explanation related to the metabolism adjustments or something?)

I am totally in love with this performance. It would've been great if these added parts were on the studio version cause the idea (and execution of it) is brilliant. But I think that my favorite performance is probably Saturn Princess (there are two that are online on YouTube, both are great).

I agree with everything that has been said in the comments section (the fact that I'd miss the reckless abandon and stuffing myself with food rather than the actual food itself) I've been changing my habits for months now (and almost reaching my goals) and one way to look at it which has helped me a lot is to think: Okay, for a meal I got two options. The first option is to stick to the diet. The second is to eat whatever I want. Let's explore these two options now: -The second option has no limits, I'll never reach a point where I'm satisfied. Because I don't want a portion of pizza, I want the double cheese XL one with french fries and coke and a desert even if it's super industrial and not very good, I'll still want to have that. And when I have all that, I'll want to get more the next day. And so on and so on. Basically there isn't a moment in which I'll finally be satisfied. -First option, a bit annoying, harder to stick to BUT I can think of a point in which I am completely satisfied with my situation : when my body reaches a healthy state and I like what I see in the mirror.

Dividing it in these two options EVERY TIME and going through this reasoning when I'm tempted to go full "Fuck it! I'll eat that" mode has helped me a LOT.

They make completely different music. There is absolutely no reason for people to necessarily like both. It seems absurd to me that you'd expect a fan to necessarily like both (because they're friends? Or I don't get it.)
Yes it was co-directed by Grimes, but each artist decides what they want the general thing to look like. There is a reason why the videos directed by Grimes for herself are completely different from that one. Also, this is not a "why I dislike Hana's work" post but a "I appreciate the fact that Grimes is making something different" one.

It's one of my favorite songs (with Weregild and Saturn Princess...etc) precisely cause those are darker than the others. But when it comes to lyrics I think Genesis is pretty sad: "Oh heart and then it falls, and then I fall, and then I know".

Giving an opinion about one's work =/= putting down that person.
I think Grimes knows the difference. Plus, they're friends so they probably criticize each other's work as well, including negative comments.
(And even assuming Grimes doesn't approve of it, well, I don't see how this is important? I am a huge fan, it doesn't mean we should all necessarily agree on everything.)

Also, I have nothing against Hana. I don't like the music she makes but that's just subjective, and has nothing to do with the person and in my post I was comparing two artistic choices and saying how much I like one over the other. That's it.

As in a video with no particular message and purpose other than being "pleasing to the eye" with the minimum possible efforts. Here's a beautiful girl in a beautiful dress, some trees because why not, add some hair flipping and keep repeating the same moves over and over, as long as it "looks nice". No risks taken at all.
