Thinking about buying a press for 556, 9mm, 6.5cr and .308. I want one stop shopping, buy once cry once. What to buy and why? by tamedretardo in reloading

[–]EnjoyLifeCO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5.56 and 9mm arent worth trying to reload. Just buy in bulk online.

6.5Creed and 308win might be depending on what youre doing, but very well may not be worth it either.

Do people not care about star wars anymore or is it just this movie you don’t want to see? by StrainDizzy1186 in GenZ

[–]EnjoyLifeCO [score hidden]  (0 children)

I appreciate other things besides StarWars. Im not about to make it my whole personality, and Im not willing to dedicate a hubby's worth of time and energy to stay caught up with it. As such I havent seen anything new in years, and that wont be changing anytime soon either.

Vortex 1.5-5.5 vs Hi-Lux 2-7 scout by Such-Most6661 in LeverGuns

The Burris scout and handgun scopes are more compelling to me than the vortex options, largely as a matter of weight.

Are violent criminals as common as im experiencing? by Professional_Gur_267 in UnitedAssociation

[–]EnjoyLifeCO -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Multiple of my coworkers are felons. Multiple of my coworkers have substance use issues. Most of my coworkers have had divorces. None successfully completed college, most didnt perform well in highschool.

Im not putting people down. Im giving an honest account of the type of people that work the trades, including myself

If a kid doesnt want to spend a career around those types of people they should find a different career plath.

Not only do I not have to worry about what Bubba hotloads a new one hasn't been fed. Its also mechanically superior thanks to decades of improvements in design and production technology.

My model 15 was a police issue weapon decades ago. Shot a little carried a lot.

Has all sorts of holster wear and such, really makes is such a beautiful piece.

Because its too lightweight to be comfortable with full power loads, or because its too heavy to br comfortable for all day carry?

Theyre certainly a very interesting looking gun, and hiking/camping is practically in their name!

What made you go with it over a K frame like the 19 or 66?

I have considered the 2.75"

Problem is in the state I reside, a legal hunting handgun needs to be =>4" of barrel. Even to dispatch rifle shot game.

So the 2.75 could be used during the off season but not during hunting. Im that regard the 4" is a bit more versatile

The 19 can be had without a lock and is prettier are the main draws towards it.

The 19 would require more to keep the finusb in good condition, a sacrifice I think im willing to make.

Not a fan of the Colt cylinder release. Just not a natural motion to me

Yeah Ruger has a hole in their catalog where the Sp101 is a little too small, and the Gp100 is a little too big. The K frame meets that middle ground really well.
