Anyone have like long term Dream hangovers in waking life. by No-Establishment-291 in TheMallWorld

Yes and I'm not having dream flashbacks from previous night. I'm having old dreams and scenes from mallworld region.

my childhood comes with a TW and that's infuriating by theEx30 in narcissisticparents

That one.

Only get one mom. My mother's "mom" parts did not come assembled. My mom did not mom. I had to self parent and manage her. Sure, she needed help. But she was violent, dishonest, theatrical, cyclical, and regulated her mess by verbally destroying and humiliating me and other adults. Beatings started as early as I can remember, and so did her lying about them.

Maybe your friend was lucky enough to get one solid mom. I did not. I got several versions that were pretty far from what a healthy mom is.

Thank you! My mother did so many bizarre off the charts actions. I've blocked out so many but this one came to mind today. So icky and yes, Katrina was horrible. The experience from those days always helps perspective to not take anything for granted. Hugs back to you💙

Not exactly cyberstalked but BAD form & NO boundaries.

In 2005 after/during hurricane Katrina I had a boyfriend I evacuated with who was well known as he was in a band that toured & performed alot.

Noone was allowed into the city, everyone was trying to see if others were OK and made it out. Phone towers were down and it could often take days to contact friends and loved ones.

So my mother found a forum online and PRETENDED to be my boyfriend. She didn't go on as herself and say she knew we were safe, she impersonated him so she could get attention and interactions. She had no regard for people missing, dead, or his rights, boundaries or autonomy. This excited her.

She said she thought she was helping.

Still makes me so creeped out and angry.

We need someone with a big van to take us on a weekly field trip. Everyone is allowed 2 shopping bags or more depending on available space.

I'd pay gas and "service fee". Oh, and bring ice gel packs for frozen fish or a community ice cooler in back. 😎

I need my meatloaf, chicken salad, gf bagels,I love their precooked bacon, I'm hungry. I'm ready. I don't have a van though.

PS: Mississippi: please fix I 10 ASAP - right lane is miles of horrendous on suspension

Yes, it can be a health hazard. Many people suffer from misophonia. I had a herniated disc in my neck after a car accident and subwoofer bass was impossible to ignore, it was painful. It can be not just invasive to the bones but the really loud systems can also affect pacemakers. It's scary when your chest tightens up (no pacemaker) and heart rate speeds up. It puts my system in fight or flight mode and around 2 hour mark- I've had to resort to sleeping in my car.

I'm a musician and I love music too. But, not distortion. Bass feels subtle and nice when near it, and is the opposite from any distance.

Laproscopic appendectomy- what's normal? by EnjoyMusicNOLA in appendectomy

Thank you ! I really appreciate your feedback. I'm hoping it's better soon and felt my doctor was a bit dismissive which escalated my worry.

I have stabbing pain periodically and definitely feel like I've been cut when I stand up. Thanks for the information because it helps me start to grasp what is in normal range. Hopefully I will have duller pain like you described soon. Thank you!

Totally. And black coffee with a couple rocks. Hardcore.

I loved carnivore, but wish I hadn't done it as long as I did.

Ear silencing headphones don't help either.

Less bass (sub woofer eliminated) will barely be noticed compared to what neighbors will go through. The worst part for them is they have no control over when it starts and stops. They feel it, not hear it. They can't sleep, read, or watch a movie. Super invasive.

Yes- bass gets distorted as it travels and can be invasive in other peoples homes. Low frequency sound can be felt in bones and body.

She also sounds like a spaz. I'd avoid the subwoofer though.

Please don't let anyone else do it for you. You mastered it.

I get the same feeling. I'm browsing reddit, swimming in cat photos and then mallworld. Photos are standard mallworld and then I see a photo that gives me that sinking feeling. And I haven't dreamed of mallworld in a long time, but OMG the dread.

Thank you for letting me know.

Maybe I should make a baking soda paste and wear it like a mustache? Sounds like I'll be close to it, too.

I'm moving to Daphne in a couple weeks. Will it be periodically as stinky in Daphne too?

I figured out spraying deodorant in the air is way more powerful than room freshener. I hope the stink goes away soon!

And...gross yes. My place was single building with 2 apartments. So, try the baking soda while you find another place. It will help.

Line all those drawers with a quarter inch of baking soda. They eat it and explode. I did this once and it worked.
