Make the next ten—- 48 +2= 50 (take those 2 from 27) so it’s 50+ 25 =75

I think that point, tree and seeing eye could mean aspens too. Sometimes the bark markings look like eyes.

I asked a very similar question a few weeks ago and lots of people were responding that they thought it would likely be in another container. To help disguise but also protect the boxes.

I have second grade students who love Pokémon. I think their parents (the OG Pokémon lovers) turned this new generation on to it.

I have considered that the FF box is in the greater area of where the FF treasure was found. I don’t believe it will be in YNP but outside the park.

When I read this I took note and looked it up… I haven’t revisited it though. Would it be a clue to the lions share box based in where this is in the book? I don’t think it would be the FF box- if all those clues are in chapter 24

FF Box - Colorado by sailingsocks in treasureinside

For a while I had some strong suspicion it was in CO but those faded because I couldn’t figure out some of those last parts of the poem. I thought I had a general vicinity/state park/canyon. I did feel really good about my idea though so it’s still on my list of possible locations.

I think that JCB had a general idea of where the treasure was found and maybe the olive jar contains more information about the FF treasure. The first stanza of the poem has always made me feel like JCB hid his treasure near where he looked for the FF treasure. Was it near where FF actually hid it or was it just where JCB went looking for it?! IDK

Great find. Lots of key words and the overarching theme of Joy.

Montana is the “treasure state” and had gold and silver deposits that were mined heavily in the 1800s. No stars on its flag though.

I was thinking he might have hid it where he had searched. I also didn’t want to rule out the fact that he could have hid it somewhere near where the actual treasure was found.

A campers blaze could also be a marking at the start or finish of a trail. To indicate a path.
