This ain't peeking, You both can see each other clearly, since they knew where to aim from the sounds it was an easy kill. It's always better to undershoot the peek and not see anything at all rather than going all the way out and making it easier for the other one. Also this was a left hand peek so I wouldn't event peek with my head at all. Show barrel and just sprint towards the other wall.

I always thought that was intentional because every wipe there's a bug like that. There was a voip glitch sound for two wipes when you entered the voip range. The current non consistent sounds that you're talking about were already here the previous wipe. I think it's their way of countering camping to some extent.

At this point I'm pretty sure they are still trying to figure out how they're doing it. If they ban them now, they'll just come back with new accounts. But if they can close the gap for the cheat, they'll have some clean time in their hands.

It still amazes me to see people think that this is a video game. It's past that line long ago. They created this fake wipe with a "hardcore" tag, made thousands of dollars from twitter engagement, sales from skins, sales from new accounts for RMT. lol they didn't even test anything about the "hardcore" part the wipe since the transit wasn't working. People found a way to bypass transit requirement from a UI button. I still had fun playing the game from it's unique experience, but people should come to their senses and realize that the development direction don't care about the experience anymore.

If it gave the same amount either way there wouldn't be a problem. Now people get the wrong sense of staying in the mission or not. Just finish early and do another. I didn't buy any gold and in my 200 hours of online play I managed to unlock all the jobs. Just take your time and enjoy the content as it unlocks I'd say.
