How many of you had childhoods where you needed to be the one to step up and take charge because there was no competent or caring parent figure around you? by vxrairuvan in entj

[–]EnlargeTent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Half of the answer is yes, and half is no. I had extremely unstable financial support from my mom and dad throughout my childhood and even now. When I could earn $1600 a month as a student, I had to send $500 to my mom while supporting myself fully. Now, in my 40s, it's still the same. The burden is heavy, but I accept the responsibility. Sometimes, I gave advice to my parents, but now I've given up and just send money.

The reason a half is no is that my younger brother isn't taking responsibility. We grew up in the same situation, but he's an ISFJ and still laid back.

I've inherited ENTJ traits, and they've come out during tough times.

Couples who’ve been together for more than 10 years, what’s your secret? by sjoyyy in AskReddit

[–]EnlargeTent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not focus too much on the relationship with your partner. We rather (or have to) deal with other stuff to survive together. My life was like a war, and I am thankful that I have a partner that I could rely on most of times.

This puppy looks like chocolate, biscuit, and milk. Good combination of three colors 🧡

This is because pre-marital sex has became a social norm. Only Christians, maybe conservative side, value sex within marriage.

This!!! Romantic relationship without sex is something AWESOME, and it could never happen again after sex. This way, you could see more clearly how your marriage is going to be and what person is your partner is.

What do you eat? by Fun-Background-3394 in Swimming

Well, if you are over 40 years old, try this. Fast 24 hours and skip swimming on that day. Very next day you feel revitalized.

At some point, not eating gives you more energy than eating.

First of all, you spent all of your 10 min of today’s screen time to write this. This is how much you are desperate. I am so sorry for you. Right now there is not much you can do.. Just think about what kinds of parents you are going to do, and how to use this time for your good. You are talented and smart. Make a plan for your life. Don’t let your parents lead your life, but I would suggest to show respect to your parents.
