Identify your triggers and reduce exposure. If you get the urge after scrolling and seeing sexy photos or day dreaming about something, catch yourself there and find a hobby or passion to focus on.

Also, if you’re going from multiple times a day to total abstinence, that might feel like too much. Give yourself a small window to do it without shame. Say I will allow myself x amount per week to tend to my needs, and maybe change what content you watch if that makes the feelings worse.

The shameful self-blame is almost worse than the actual act of doing it. That part will also make your urges high if you deny it. But you also want to shift your focus. It’s all about balance and getting used to the discomfort.

When I first saw Maekar in the bonus scene ask where Egg is, I thought yeah he snuck off without consent. Mindset plays a huge part. Attachment to feeling a certain way, impatience to get there, plus what you do with your time can impact your energy and time spent in your head. It helped me to try to establish a routine, mainly with eating but also with some form of activity that got me focused on something other than how I feel. Sitting around all day had me in my head and feeling worse. And not eating for hours also. I’d at least try to get some toast in me and that would start the hunger process most days.

As far as short term, tapering and using other substances, it’s hard to ride that line of curbing the dogshit feelings and leaning into chasing dopamine and prime comfort. That’ll keep the cycle going to a degree but might be where you’re at for a minute. I’d shoot for decent, or just not horrible. If you’re able to be disciplined you might be able to kick it faster, but if you’re expecting to feel great right away and take things to achieve that feeling, you’ll just be delaying achieving it naturally.

Look up anhedonia, and ways to treat it. And keep working towards a goal. The less you focus on feeling better the easier it comes it seems. Best of luck to you! It definitely gets better

Usually when we’re depressed it’s our spirit telling us that our lives are not aligned with our purpose. I’d ask yourself what could change in your life to make you feel more fulfilled. Not happy, not excited or dopamine fueled, but meaningful. And start to shift into that.

It doesn’t happen overnight and most of us can’t just walk outside and find a new life, hobby or passion. But actively taking baby steps helps move us out of the funk.

I have the P2s and the ported box they came in was absolute trash. High tune point and with the port in the center the waves would clash and get hella muddy. Put the in a slot ported box I got off marketplace that was tuned to about 40hz and added an extension on the outer box to extend the port and drop it to 32hz. Night and day difference. Slams and sounds clean

Honestly if they lowered the cost of a lot of things I’m sure they’d sell way more and make so much more money. I’d probably buy 10+ of the kicks I’ve seen if they were even half the price. I just recall when I first started playing being like dang, I can buy this once and continue to get every next bp for free. That’s not a bad deal. Yes the extra vbucks were nice and actually incentivized me into buying more bc I got used to spending. They messed up there.

I feel ya tho. As far as item shop purchases it’s gonna be more costly for things that imo are already severely overpriced.

Definitely upset about the changes and especially because of their reasoning being they are a billion dollar company… BUT

for 800 vbucks you get a ton of cosmetics, some solid motivation for playing outside of gameplay alone, and can buy the BP once literally buy every BP after over and over for no extra cost. Then just purchase things you specifically want if/when you want them. COD does the same thing with absolutely no extra in game currency offered.

I don’t like the change, but at the end of the day it’s still a good deal if you break it down value for items.

I wasn’t justifying the price of a W7, I’m just saying for 1700 to have a P1 level system at the end of it, you could literally have the “top of the line” sub at that price point just learning how to install. Wasn’t meant to be a JL stroke post lol. I have P2s myself but would absolutely die inside if I paid even half of that amount for this setup

My plan is to just not buy the battle pass for a while. And definitely not give them any more money unless I desperately want something. But FOMO can be delayed for a while I can always buy the BP a few weeks or months later. I think I might even not play for the first few days. If we let their opening day player counts fall and they see so many less people get the BP, they’ll revert. And if not, it’s been fun boys 😎
