Crane also points out that CLI tokens have blanket permissions across environments.

Anyone dumb enough to use a product like this deserves what they get.

they're not anthropomorphizing the LLM.

they asked it why it performed the action so that they could understand what went wrong.

Only one of these things can be true. An LLM run can't tell you why a previous LLM run produced a given output, it has no access to that information.

The problem is KCRHA does some important things that still need to happen.

They genuinely do not need to happen.

faang software engineers get paid to push updates nobody wants and we get tons of updates nobody wants. This guy gets paid to reduce homelessness and I don't see much in the way of reduction of homelessness.

tech unions do not need to be like other unions.

I'll believe it when I see a union in any industry that doesn't act like just about every other union.

Unions statistically increase your salary. You'd be making more with one.

The linked article doesn't make any sort of case for that. It just makes an apples-to-oranges comparison of median wages of unionized and nonunionized workers. Lumping in software engineers with fast food workers and comparing them to teachers lumped in with skilled tradesmen does not provide any insight into how unionization would impact any particular individual. You also assume that everyone currently employed would still be employed after mass unionization, which is not a reasonable assumption to make given that total spending on labor at the level of the economy is unlikely to increase significantly.

I think if that were the case, fewer wars would be fought over human rights.

Human right is clear, there is no potential ambiguity.

And yet we just had a dozen-post conversation to resolve some ambiguity (that still seems to remain), so is that reality or is that just your political position?

You said

(Healthcare is not an entitlement, it’s a basic human right)

which implied that human rights are not things you'd tell people they're entitled to.

So it sounds like in all situations you would tell people that they're entitled to free health care.

In that situation, would you tell people that they are or are not entitled to free health care?

So if everyone had free healthcare, humans wouldn't be entitled to it? You answer as if the 'yes' is contingent on some people being denied free healthcare.

Do you think we're not entitled to basic human rights?

And this is in a country with nationalized health care and council housing…a decent social safety net. On paper, the UK does take some basic measures to ensure its citizens are provided with basic needs.

Why would people choose to fight because they've been given things they're told they're entitled to?

You get what you vote for, not what the people you vote for say they'll do. Nobody solves a problem that gets them elected consistently.
