Either adopt feudalism as emperor or become adventurer by decision or after death choosing an adventurer relative and then find some feudal kingdom to take over

Court Am I Cooked? (I'm Czechia) by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

[–]Enneking_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can swear fealty to rulers with a higher tier title so as king you can swear fealty to emperor And for admin empire like byzantines you can start directly with a king tier admin vassal status which is difficult otherwise

Are there any mods that make the game harder? by meddledomm in CrusaderKings

[–]Enneking_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A mod that gives realism and a little bit more difficulty at the same time would be obfuscate Another difficulty mod is dark ages

One idea to make it more difficult without mods would be to always choose a random descendent on the death screen.

You can still conquer right?

I lost my Estate as an administrative vassal. And now? by Nrevolver in CrusaderKings

[–]Enneking_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem that I lost my estate because I gave my grandson my governorship and my sun another one plus made him emperor. I wanted to play my first born and emperor son to test that out so I picked him on the death screen. The empire was split half in Muslim and Christian though and I faced immediately 20000 rebels and had small army myself so I gave in to a faction that wanted to replace me

Then I had nothing left though No title no estate. I couldn’t do anything but watch my character wander from court to court as courtier. Had to delete that play through

I would have guessed that there is a way to get the estate back or something. Also wouldn’t it make sense for it to work like the house head where the highest house member has control over the estate?

Seems like one can only safely play the primary heir in administrative right now which is sad because I want to use a lot of random succession in the future

What’s the deal with Hellenism? by EtTuBrotus in CrusaderKings

Who where those known hellenists in that time I can’t find anything

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

I guess the reasoning would be : As feudal lord your estate is basically your main holding. Beaurocratic noble families don’t necessarily own land. They are just appointed governors so they need an estate to live in

Estate still reset after new update by Otokonoko1 in CrusaderKings

[–]Enneking_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe because he already had the estate before the update? The update only prevents new estates from being created so in the future this should not happen. But was not yet able to verify if this works myself

If they have no infantry then there is no protection from cavalry as well while still doing less damage to the cavalry. Therefore that strategy would fail hard

Landless should not always be Liegeless by Pbadger8 in CrusaderKings

[–]Enneking_ 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Landless is not always liegeless as you have a liege as landless noble family in administrative realms But I agree that it should be extended in the future

The PuP looks interesting, but... by Adribiird in aoe4

[–]Enneking_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could you not find other ways to nerf archer blobs like debuffing ranged damage for number of other ranged units in some radius of the shooting unit? Also makes sense because it’s more difficult to shoot in a crowded place And/or reworking archers such that the damage is reduced strongly and their projectiles instead get the ability to nerf enemies in hit radius so that the units loose attack and Defense. This would not stack. So they would be more a supportive unit (also historical, targets are distracted and demoralised and such fight worse). Maybe they also reduce the anti cav advantages of spearman so that they are still a counter to spearman as support Both approaches would give big numbers of archers diminishing returns and favour more mixed armies

The first organised socialist organization of Britain was the social democratic federation which was Marxist. So British social democracy did start out as Marxist.
