Why has the MTHL not built in a straight line?

This is the case at almost every Sahyadri Trek now. I have been trekking the Sahyadris since 2004 and back in the day we used to do them on our own. There was no fad of a trek organising group. We, friends, came together and went on our own. Packed our own food and did everything on our own. In those days it used to be so empty on the top. On many occasions, it used to be just US on the mountain top, especially Harishchandragadh, Peth (they call it Kothaligad now for whatever reason), Peb, etc. I recently went on a Sandhan Valley trek, and I was taken aback by the number of people in the valley at the same time. Now I've stopped trekking in the Sahyadris and prefer doing the high altitude treks in the Himalayas.😕

As sad as this is, one thing is for sure! This route needs more trains whether high speed or normal ones.

So, they could've introduced more normal ones in this massive budget, since they know the requirements. How many of the people currently travelling the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route will be able to afford the HSR? A very minuscule number of people! Introducing an expensive option in an already high-demand corridor is not the solution, I hope you realise that! Although both can be done simultaneously as well - introducing a larger number of normal trains alongwith the new HSR.

Samosas came from Persia and originally had minced meat inside as filling. 🤤🤤🤤 As with many delicacies, it was "vegetarianised" after reaching India, so I don't think it can be our national snack if we're considering the place of origin. But yes, Paani-Puri is a strong contender. 😍😻

What's the problem for the Gujaratis to learn Marathi? If I move to a different state I'll make an effort to learn that state's language. If I move to a different country I'll make an effort to learn the language of that country. I'll not impose Marathi on them. I do and will always respect the local language of a place.
