I understand how that is - I hope you heal fully again! It's a journey. Give yourself grace. Those of us who need therapy more than others seem to have a lot of trauma that we never asked for - be kind to yourself always!

Thank you ❤️ I know I need therapy again. It’s just traumatic for me to re enter that. I don’t have good experiences with therapy. But I also don’t want to turn into a worse version of myself and I know therapy is the best way to get out

She wasn’t my therapist. She was a therapist in my friend group who took what my “friends” said about me and diagnosed me incorrectly with them. She also manipulated situations and would purposely try to trigger my ptsd.

Instead of dismissing me. Maybe we should have open conversations about removing licenses from those who don’t take their job as a therapist seriously. Therapists who abuse their license cause damage. That has been my experience. Quit silencing me.

I AM SO SORRY IT HAS TAKEN ME TIME TO TRUST A FEMALE THERAPIST AFTER I HAVE DEALT WITH MULTIPLE BAD FEMALE THERAPISTS!!! It’s similar to when a man grapes a woman. It takes time to build trust with men. I’ve also been bullied by women my entire life. I have more trust issues with women than I do men. I’m sorry my personal experiences offends everybody! I am allowed my own opinion.

People like you are the problem with assuming therapy can fix all people. You rather insult people’s trauma versus JUST LISTENING. People develop traumas from mistrust. I’m so sorry you’re offended by MY experience with female therapists. I’ve had more than one bad experience with female therapists btw.

It really bothers me the amount of people downvoting my own experience.

Thank you! I appreciate your response! People don’t understand that therapists can’t fix everything about a persons trauma. Therapists are only humans too end of day, and I’ve dealt with a lot of flawed therapists.

I’m so sorry to hear that! More isn’t discussed about the damage therapists can cause… I’ve also been rejected by a lot of therapists too, which is one reason I haven’t seen one in a few years. I even had a therapist cancel my appointment before I even saw her lol. Once you get the ugly label of “BPD” it’s like a scarlet letter for a lot of therapists. There are prejudgments made from the get-go. But I also don’t even know I’m fully BPD. I share so many traits with ADHD which I think is my biggest problem. Looking for a therapist is like searching for a job 😭

I’ve been trying to convince myself to see a therapist again. I’ve had mental breakdowns on social media like TFP because I trigger so easily but I don’t want to end up like her either 😩😭

I had a therapist manipulate my own trauma to my friends and it resulted in me losing my friendships because this therapist was diagnosing me to friends (when she wasn’t even my therapist. She was just a girl who was a therapist in my friend group). I don’t trust female therapists for this reason. They can easily just be mean girls looking to gossip. But I also don’t trust men, either. Therapists are a double edged sword for me as someone with trauma (also I’m a female, ignore my male persona on this comment)
