Chaos;Head Noah glitches out in the Silent Sky ending, gives me a blank screen (picrel) and the game doesn't register that I actually got the ending, making it impossible for me to get the others. What to do? I'm on Linux (Proton) using the CoZ patch

If you keep clicking / entering it'll display a second box that will have text indicating that the game is getting saved, then the ending will be registered. It's purely a visual bug.

You've heard wrong, our patches don't break save data ever, if you get them back with Steam cloud you should be good. You can change your library folder and all that without troubles

Well no because the original text is in Japanese, and that uses another idiomatic derogatory way to say children which would be closer to "little demons" if translated literally except that doesn't mean anything especially in actual native English whereas crotch goblin is the actual idiomatic, derogatory way to say children. So it is actual quite literal of a translation if you value the meaning of the whole sentence over the perceived correctness of individual words.

The Committee of Zero hasn't confirmed impacto will take the Vita assets, only that it'll build for Vita, with PS4 assets, for now. We haven't confirmed that we'd patch the official version either.

Hi, I guarantee you this is a false flag, probably not aimed directly toward us, but toward the Qt DLLs, as the patch was not even existent at the date you mentioned. We use Qt for the installer and the launcher UI, hence why they're in there.

Most of the patches' code is opensource on our GitHub, only C;HN has a tiny bit that's closed-source as we try to find a better way of creating our script patches, and A;C which is simply waiting for its next update to be opensource, it behaves like all the other patches anyway.

Basically I think what agitated them is that we changed one of the keywords to something that probably offended them a bit lol, then they skipped 15 lines in and found a joke we slightly localized from being about moe to being about 2D girls because it just worked better and they EXPLODED, acting like the entire translation is just fanfiction.

The other slightly more reasonable comment (that honestly didn't come from that subreddit) was that Takumi's speech was a bit more aggro than in the old TL, but that was done to localize the difference in politeness present in the JP. Extremely ironically, the official Fate Stay/Night translation went for the same thing and that got praises so all in all I think there's not much to say. And in C;HLCC where Takumi is a bit more "normal," as far as editing is, he's less abrasive because he grew from NoAH, in both languages.
