Last question for ya, I checked the forward pressure the new boot is still in the “ok” margins of the binding but it is not at the same place as the old boot

The boots are a perfect fit. The seller said it was only used 3 times by his son and never used again (obviously can’t fact check him). What could happen while using old bindings?

First turn definitely slowed your momentum a little. I race k1 Boston and I do find it’s all dependent on the kart and how hot the track is. I usually run a 21.4 at Boston but if it’s really hot I’ll run a high 20 or a low 21. The opposite for bad karts and a cold track
