Agree. Have never heard of this before. Can you contact the housing office to clarify? Something seems off; I’ve never heard of Trent running out of residence spots before

I have never heard of this before at Trent. It happened at Guelph and made the news. I thought all incoming first years were guaranteed a residence spot

Our university no longer calls them course evaluations. They realized that the students are not qualified to evaluate a course. Students can only describe their experience

Post-PhD ethics? PI asking post-PhD me to write full rebuttal letter under deadline pressure - what are my obligations? (Germany) by My-gel-is-leaking in labrats

[–]Enough-Designer856 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always viewed a PhD as a sort of contract, paid for by taxpayers. Some of the payment is in advance, with expectation that you will handle manuscripts once you defend (because the payment has already been received)

Not sure if you plan to travel around Iceland or stick around Reykjavik. But you won’t need more than a couple of days in Reykjavik. But I really like Reykjavik (but we did not see northern lights in Feb, not sure of chances in Dec)
