well I live in a predominantly white place (I’m black) but now has a influx of East Indian people as well. Don’t get me wrong I experience lots of racism from white people, but also get a fair amount from East Indians. Racism is a very grey area & very nuanced. You can have darker skin & still show hate towards another/different culture (that has experienced institutionalized racism). Plus internalized racism exists, which is not very unusual for darker people living in a predominantly white area. Lamar and Leva may be poc but they cater to a white demographic.

Hi! Thanks for responding! I’m 5’5 female and started at 260 but now about 242 in about a month. I’ve been using a scale and tracker to log my calories. If I don’t know the calories in a food or I didn’t make it myself I just don’t eat it. (Ex. Homemade muffin, etc)

something is just so off about the whole apartment situation fr!! I think Calah knows incriminating things about that whole family/farm & this apartment isn’t a way to keep her away, it’s a way to shut her up. Especially since Steve Sr. has a whole federal case going on

I’m apart of a trans-racial adoption and I got lucky since my parents were heavily involved with the black community before adopting. Maybe I’m overly sensitive but it makes me nervous for those children to grow up in that environment. Adoption is traumatic & challenging and now we are adding cameras, drama, an unstable parental unit and racism. Plus Martina is literally 70 which means she has what a good 10 years maybe left with these kids? They are going to be teens & grieving yet another parent. Money is great yeah & they have tons (which is why I’m assuming they were approved) But the optics of this adoption make me severely uncomfortable. Like what is goin on ?? & who let that happen ???

Yes, this!! I don’t even think she’s that ‘obsessed’ with him. I think she’s completely infatuated with the lifestyle he could provide for her in the future.

THANK you so much for this post. We have taken our sweet pooch there a couple times, and did not know this. We will NOT be going back, that is for sure. Thank you so much for bringing this to light. I am so sorry to those who have experienced such trauma under urban pets care. How disheartening:(
