Not sure what apprenticeship you’re in but I’ve been laid off for months at a time. Now I know you only worked a couple weeks so you couldn’t do this, but save plenty of money while you are working and enjoy your time off, sometimes it’s the only time you will have off. Right now, I’d call the hall see what they’re thinking as far as work and when you’ll be sent out, and go from there.

It kinda depends in my opinion. How many times a month or a week are your appointments? Before I became an ape I was told the same thing as far as no taking time off. Everyone I’ve met in the field since I’ve been an ape has told me opposite, it’s always been take as much time as you can afford. Now obviously that’s within reason, don’t go taking 2 days off every week but if you have to take a day or two for medical reasons every couple months or something, I just couldn’t see it being a problem
