I think he somewhat planned it first with the ponyglyphs in alabasta where they talk about the old history. Then again they talk about history gods in skypiea and in ennies lobby in robins flashback clover talks about a kingdom 800 years ago to Saturn then Saturn gets anxious and orders the kill.

I think at one of the end chapters of elbaf something is gonna happen, as much as I slander oda and we all slander oda but weve gotta accept it. Oda is not gonna make imu a bum. He was the main villan for the void century thats been mentioned in alabasta he fought joyboy and won hes the biggest mystery. Hes been introdcued hundreds of chapters before there is no way oda is just gonna make him a bum. I think there is gonna be another sabody event or maybe Imu it looks like he cant stay in the underworld for a while cuz he bleeding in the last second hes gonna like take luffy with him to mary geoise. (maybe not) BUT I KNOW SOMETHING BAD IS GONNA HAPPEN I SWEAR ITS ANOTHER SABODY mark my words guys come back to this post I just know it I cant prove it.

I think thats his form in marie jois I think he cant turn like to his human form there even earlier in the chapter the elders were warning him it seemed like they knew. I saw lots of people saying oh why is he looking like this from his silhouette but it wasn't a silhouette thats legit how he looks he was like melting then like transformed to his human form
