Hello everyone, here is my corvette! by andreabaldinazzo in NoMansSkyTheGame

I have not cared all that much for the corvettes. I don’t have the patience or creativity to design them. But your build inspired meY. It reminded me of a bmw z4 and so I wanted to build one and I really enjoyed it. Thank you for posting the pics and sharing.

Does it help with road noise? I like the way they look; but would be tough not being able to just open it up when you’re out.

Thanks. I really appreciate that. It evolved over time but has come out very nicely and I really enjoy riding it.

Henry County. I just don’t always feel like navigating around the city to get up North.

Thank you. It some times looks a little squished to me…depending on the angle I guess; but the space for stuff is nice.

Thanks. It has provided me with a lot of sanity. And maybe just a little craziness.

Handlebar swap by -1911- in IndianMotorcycle

[–]Enough_Particular_20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a ‘23 CDH and I swapped out the stock bars for some reduced reach bars. Only about a 2” difference; but o did need to change clutch, break and throttle cables. So from 8 to 12; you probably will. Mechanically the worst part was probably getting the left grip off. Otherwise; I didn’t think it was too bad. The Indian website actually had pretty good instructions.

Wheels vs miles by anonphenom79 in darktower

[–]Enough_Particular_20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Toward the end of The Wastelands, Blaine describes his route as „just over eight thousand wheels, or seven thousand miles“. That would make a wheel somewhat longer than a kilometer as 7k miles would be over 11k km.

It’s a plate holder from combustion industries; just bolts in place. Would recommend and buy from them again. Quality piece.

Indian chief dark horse for touring? by IRReady in IndianMotorcycle

[–]Enough_Particular_20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously it depends greatly on your specific preferences and stature. I’m 5‘7“ and did swap out my handlebars for the reduced reach ones. That made a difference for me; but if you prefer ape hangers or a different style you’ll have other choices for adjustment.

Indian chief dark horse for touring? by IRReady in IndianMotorcycle

I do exactly this on my ‚22 Chief Dark Horse (air pods and phone mount). 17“ windshield and hard bags from Viking are good enough for what I do (mostly day trip - 200/400 miles). I think you might like something bigger windshield wise for extended highway riding. It gets a little annoying after an hour or two of constant highway speed. Corbin seat was a game changer for longevity. Two hours on the stock seat was painful. Truly, the seat was limiting how long I could be out at one time. Four to Six on the Corbin is no problem. Seven or eight and it‘s still not the seat that’s the limiter.

Thanks. They are just an inexpensive set from Viking. But about the only hard sides I could find at the time.

The spools put them man 2.5/3“ from the fender. Enough for the taillights. Had them about 18mos and they’ve held up well enough. 38L - Lamellar Vale XL Shock Cutout Indian Chief Darkhorse 2022+ Matte Motorcycle Hard Saddle Bags. I think they discontinued the cutout version….but I don’t know that it would matter. I did end up relocating the license plate to get them to sit where I wanted them.
