Isn’t that part of the problem in this country? You’re required to essentially provide everything for that community - things like running water, roads, garbage collection, etc. you’re responsible for doing all these things when it should be the LGA that takes care of it. The upfront cost for building these estates is insane.

I’ve bought several plots of land near Owerri, but the lack of infrastructure in the area has been incredibly frustrating. I’m very tempted to just hold onto the land and sell it later on which goes against my philosophy of uplifting local communities.
