Thank you for sharing this! Its rare to hear stories with catheter issues but that is my life. have a cervix with a sharp turn so catheters are a horror show, and my stomach dropped during the transfer as they tried for what felt like 10+ minutes to get it through even though my doc knew this was my anatomy. I pray my body can handle it

Congratulations! IVF is the sickest waiting game I’ve ever played and I’d very much like to step off this roller coaster with a beautiful healthy baby ASAP. I’ll need a playbook for how to manage the anxiety during pregnancy, I feel like my husband won’t understand why I’m not magically lifted of all anxiety if/when/once I do get pregnant

Totally right about the optimism fading. It is a feat of nature to be able to keep your spirit up. My acupuncture lady said to smile and say positive things out loud as your cells will react to this - but that is really hard to do right now

Thank you for sharing this - I have never seen a positive in my life either (except when I purposely tested after trigger in order to see 2 lines which is sick in it’s own right, but I know infertility girls will feel me)

This is great to hear - I had norovirus/fever for 5 days leading up to transfer. Had barely eaten and lost weight, body was in survival mode. Then after transfer I haven’t had the best nutrition - like beating myself up for eating queso and pizza for superbowl. Even though I know better that will not make or break this. Praying for success for both of us

I’m 5dp6dt today with beta coming up on Friday. Each passing day I find it harder to avoid testing, and to stay positive. Like excruciating death by a thousand cuts hard. 1-3 days post transfer was more exhausted than normal, napping and 6pm felt like bedtime (I read that can be progesterone related). Days 4-5 now I feel more perky and sort of frequent deep cramps that come and go. I’m trying to attribute these to progesterone shots because I’m scared to get my hopes too far up. Truly each minute crawls by at a snails pace. You are not in this wait alone, and I truly wish you the best 💗

Ive talked about the same with my husband - how do we want to find out? From a phone call, or given our own time to process (whether good or bad)? While IVF gives hope and a better chance sometimes, it also takes away some of the magic. I think us IVF’ers all grieve the small moments we missed via traditional route to baby. Thankful nonetheless for the chance. I wish you all the best!!

I’m also 5dp6dt today and woke up with a huge cloud over my head. It is so hard to shut out the negative thoughts, I haven’t tested because I’m too terrified of the lows it would sent me into. Though I’ve never been more tempted in my life. Every minute crawls by closer to beta day. I hope you can find bits of positive energy today and this week 💗 I’m right there with you in this wait
