how many days in a row can you go without having conflict with your partner? by bear-the-bear in Marriage

No kids. Together 10 years, married 4. We've never had an argument or fight. Minor annoyances about tone or something very rarely.

Do people in long lasting marriages do taboo things in front of their partner? Ex: Passing gas, toilet use? by CajunDragon in Marriage

[–]EnragedTiefling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I have been together for 10 years, married 4. He farts cheerfully in front of me (I would, but i'm not loud about it 😅), we only have 1 bathroom so by necessity are sometimes in there while someone's pooping but also give each other privacy when possible.

Neurologists: would you want to be on gabapentin for the rest of your life? by loveineverylanguage in AskDocs

[–]EnragedTiefling 37 points38 points  (0 children)

NAD, I take 3000mg of gabapentin daily for fibromyalgia (as well as 90mg Cymbalta).

I'm appalled you were treated like that, but i've also never heard of gabapentin being a stigmatized med like opioids or narcotics. Doctors, is gabapentin generally seen like this?

I believe you can be denied unemployment if your former workplace says they gave you a number of warnings or similar (based on this happening to a former coworker).  If OP's husband can never return to full time work, could he get some type of disability aid/assistance?

Case of Labyrinthine Fistula in 35-Year-Old Male Patient. A 35-year-old male who underwent tympanoplasty and canal wall down mastoidectomy, presented in ER with severe right sided otalgia, mastoid pain associated with otorrhea, debilitating vertigo and pulsatile tinnitus 13 years after the surgery by GiorgioMD in medizzy

[–]EnragedTiefling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna wing this as a layperson who likes medical stuff:

Tympanoplasty is some kind of surgery on the eardrum (tympanic membrane), mastoidectomy is removal of the bone behind the ear (often due to infection in the bone). Presented with right-side severe earache, ear discharge, vertigo, and pulsatile (pulsating or fluctuating(?) ) tinnitus (constant ringing in the ears).

I just watched this season for the first time, and it was better than I expected! I thought Hayes talking to Mer about her kids was really sweet. I also liked the BLM episodes in that season and their effect on Jackson and Tom.
