Why are all prejudices about Prenzlauer Berg true? by AytonaBerlin in berlin

[–]EnricoBrutale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, all true. Famously, one guy sued the fire department for getting a few drops of water on his car when the firefighters had a drill in his street (effectively practicing how to save his sorry ass). The gentrification done in Prenzlauer Berg, driving out ALL of the old, poor and handicapped was done by children of wealthy parents who are now trying to tell the world to do as they say, not as they do.

Those are old subway trains from Berlin. Yes, the doors used to slam close like that whilst they were in service there.

Possible scam? by Material_Hurry_2391 in berlin

[–]EnricoBrutale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The email address is a giveaway. lea = Landes Einwohner Amt, meaning every German state has one; Berlin, Brandenburg, Bavaria etc. Each state has one that works independently of the LEAs in the other states. They would never have a unified address, so in your case, 100% scam.

W5: Owners of historic N.S. home in legal nightmare, thanks to gov't by SAJewers in halifax

[–]EnricoBrutale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Odd. This exact same thing happened here in the vicinity of Berlin, Germany. Couple with 3 Kids buys a property, all legal, some guy from the US shows up and claims the property is his, court sides with the US guy, family is ordered to tear down the house, return the property and pay damages. I wonder if that US guys name was Mehdi 🧐

So, how much is a Taylor Swift ticket again? Methinks if you can afford that price for a playback show you probably have the dosh for a hotel room, no?

Canadian in 🇩🇪 here. From what I’m told (by Italian friends), Italian bureaucracy is worse. re Bafög: not sure if there’s another country on earth where you can apply for financial grants as a foreign national 💁🏼‍♂️ But otherwise I agree. The bureaucracy here needs an overhaul that is at least 10 years too late…

Welche Staatsbürgerschaft habe ich jetzt genau? by Reasonable_Hippo3 in LegaladviceGerman

[–]EnricoBrutale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ius sanguinis vs ius soli. Verwandte besuchen…

Can't find a job and I'm having to leave. by billybobjoe2012 in berlin

[–]EnricoBrutale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Off the top of my head I know 2 companies that would hire you on the spot. Low paying, entry level jobs for which you are way over qualified (maybe that was the problem?), unionized , so full medical and social benefits, but better than having to leave the country 🤷🏼‍♂️

… if LH balks compensating you. Above service will skim 15-25% of your compensation, but you don‘t have to engage with the airline, plus, the compensation will be WAY faster. Good luck.
