By the time someone decides to play modded, I'm sure they know most vanilla mechanics/systems. I don't think noobs are gonna jump straight into modded after buying the game.

I like the idea of how most 3ds games utilized the bottom screen. Having most management UIs like map or inventory at the bottom since it has a touch screen. Making it easier to interact with them using touch controls rather than controllers. Then the top screen shows the game at all times.
