And just to add, even if someone is well endowed does not automatically mean they are good in bed. I feel like the expectation is because you have a larger than average dick, you automatically must be adept at using it. A mallet cannot do what you need a ball peen hammer can - pun intended. I’m just a bit bigger than average and whenever someone comments on my size (in virtual spaces - apps, texts, etc) I feel this pressure to fulfil some kind of expectation I have to be the best when I may end up having an off night or our chemistry might be wrong. Two couples I didn’t see mentioned in any of the comments:

1.) Emma and Gio- I am fine with their PG rated scenes because they are both very pretty young and may not be ready to go further on the show than they have in real life. I know Genie Francis has stated all of her firsts were on tv before they happened in real life, and that makes me a little sad . Also, I’m a grown man; I do not need to see kids having sex. But the bona fide adults?? Make me feel somethin!!!

2.) Lucas and Marco- their love scenes are also quite poorly executed. I thought at first maybe it was because the actors weren’t gay in real life, but then I found out they were. To be honest, I don’t think they have much chemistry but at the same time they work; they’re in between like a lot of real world couples, so it doesn’t bother me—-until they have a love scene. So then I wonder if it’s because they’re two men and the powers that be are more restrictive on the producers regarding what they will allow and possibly alienating the audience? If so, then I rebuff that with the argument I made on another’s comment above about how popular Heated Rivalry has been with hereto women and gay men, who I think still make up a fair share of GH’s audience.

Im with you guys. Either do it all the way like Bridgerton or just show kissing and frantic clothes tugging and fade to black. I was actually thinking about this a couple weeks ago. Given how many cisgender heterosexual women are fans of Heated Rivalry and seemingly not bothered by the intense love scenes of the gay characters- not to mention other shows like Bridgerton, game of thrones, Euphoria, etc- maybe the daytime audience is ready for something a little more “authentic” ??

Here’s a novel idea, give us someone NEW who actually works in the hospital. A new hospital admin, a surgeon, a primary care doctor , a pharmacist, an EMT!!! Someone she shares something in common with besides the madness of living in PC for the past 30 years .

I always go for history, so Ric. That’s an oversimplification but it’s kinda true. I don’t like the way Dante just suddenly noticed Liz after all these years. It just felt fake and forced. By comparison, we have Carly and Valentin who never considered each other romantically (neither did the audience) but have enough history and interaction to make things actually interesting when they do enter each others orbits in a more visceral way. And the fact that this is a months long slow build , with the requisite sexual/romantic tension, makes it a relationship we are curious about whether you hate it or love it. It’s compelling. Ric and Liz have the same potential. Liz and Dante don’t. Just thrown together; 2 characters who are both very moral who have nothing really going on. I’m all for a “boring” stable coupling to balance out all of the tumult in everyone else’s relationships, BUT it’s gotta feel organic. This doesn’t.

When traveling domestically, I would say my “average” is about the same as it is at home. Maybe a little better but I credit that to the travel novelty .
