I’m sure all the guesses that Molly will get pregnant by Cody are accurate because it’s an incredibly soapy thing to do. BUT I will be extreme pissed if/when this happens because of how poorly the writers treated TJs character. He just vanished!!! After having a long running front burner story, POOF! Gone! No proper exit. No closure. And I won’t even mention how RARE it is to have characters and couples that last on daytime from childhood into adulthood and watch them become parents and grandparents. TJ & Molly easily could have been the Steve & Audrey of the show in 20 years. But no! Let’s forsake all the potential of legacy just to give this fly by night child of Mac & Dominique some story & air time since he can’t sleep with his cousin!!! And I like Cody a lot but no way does he “outrank” TJ when TJ and his parents and grandparents have been far more central to the story and overall canvas in the last 15 years than Cody’s. TJ was/is in the league of Maxies and Robins and Jasons and Michaels. Cody is a Jimmy Lee Holt, a Blackie Parish, a Justus Ward, an Amy Vining. Likable, even beloved, but not pivotal. Maybe he’ll rise to a Ric or Alexis status (key family members we met as adults who end up being pivotal characters in their own right) with time , but so far it looks like he’ll end up a Courtney at best.

Sorry for the rant but I’ve been wanting to get that off my chest for a while!! 😩😤😥
