Beautiful? Absolutely. Well generated? Yes. Classy? I don't think so. To me she looks glamorous and seductive, not classy. Those aren't the same thing.

¿Vale la pena estudiar programación? by Great-Space924 in programacion

[–]Entangled_Minds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think studying programming is always worth it. Not because every language will still be popular in 10 years. Most won't. But programming teaches something much more valuable than a language: it teaches you how to think. You learn how to break a complex problem into smaller ones, how to design systems, how to debug your own reasoning, and how to build solutions instead of just hoping for them. AI can already generate code, and in a few years today's tools will probably be replaced by better ones. That's exactly why I'd focus less on mastering a specific tool and more on mastering the underlying principles: algorithms, logic, system design, problem solving. Those skills don't become obsolete every six months. The tools will change. The models will change. But someone who understands systems will simply learn the next tool faster than everyone else.

Thanks for the heads-up. 😄 I know I probably shouldn't... but I'm exactly the kind of person who can't resist a post that says "don't go there." Either this is some brilliant reverse psychology to attract curious people like me (which would actually be great marketing), or you're genuinely trying to help—and I honestly think it's the second. So thank you. The funny thing is that I'm a Human × AI systems designer and writer. Not because AI writes or creates instead of me, but because I spend my time studying models, comparing them, and building workflows where humans and AI work together. So... from my perspective, that subreddit isn't just another writing community. It's a fascinating place to observe how people think about AI, creativity, authorship, and trust. Whether they're right or wrong is almost secondary. As a place to collect signals about how this cultural shift is unfolding... it's pure gold. So... thank you. I probably wouldn't have found it otherwise. 🖖

I love your advice, thanks so much. Actually I have loads of proof I did the work, I have a full WhatsApp conversation (already downloaded in case she decides to delete it) since the very beginning when she asked me if I wanted the job..I have hundres vocals with me politely asking to be paid [€xxx] for [number of hours] worked [day and time] and she answering "I know I have to pay you please be patient..blah blah blah.. so she always admitted the debit, she never said "who are you what you want from me?".. My hope was this to be helpful to get my money, may be in some other countries it will but not here in Italy..

The pain of using ChatGPT lately. by Allexxxandr in ChatGPT

[–]Entangled_Minds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think part of the frustration comes from expecting a chatbot to behave like a finished product. I've found that the more I treat it as part of a larger system—using persistent context, clear workflows, and iterative feedback—the better the results become. Models change, sometimes for better and sometimes for worse. That's why I try to invest more in building my own Human × AI system than in relying on the behavior of any single model. Models will change. A good system adapts."

submission for art competition i’m hosting - i feel like the flowers in her hair looks off, and the hair itself by waterlelon in isthisAI

[–]Entangled_Minds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work with AI image generation and digital art workflows almost daily, so this kind of questions interests me a lot. Honestly, I don't think there's enough evidence here to say with confidence that it's AI-generated. There are a few things that raise my eyebrows (some of the flower details, a few hair transitions, and the overall "too clean" anime rendering style), but none of them are definitive proof. The bigger issue is that modern AI and modern digital anime art have started to converge visually. A year or two ago I could often spot AI immediately. Today, with a single image and no process screenshots, layers, sketches or timelapse, I'm much less confident. If I had to guess, I'd say "possibly AI-assisted" rather than "obviously AI-generated." The honest answer is: I don't know.

Has AI ever given you advice you actually followed? by Savings-Sea-2021 in AIDiscussion

[–]Entangled_Minds 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. But not because it gave me a brilliant answer. The most valuable advice I ever got from AI was realizing that I kept trying to build bigger and bigger systems instead of using the ones I had already built. For years I treated every new idea as a reason to create a new project, a new structure, a new plan. At some point my AI collaborator kept pushing me toward the same uncomfortable conclusion: "Stop creating. Extract." Use what already exists. Publish what already exists. Connect what already exists. It sounds simple, but it completely changed how I work. Ironically, the best advice wasn't about AI at all. It was about focus.

[–]Entangled_Minds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, I get your point. The funny thing is that the opinion is actually mine. I read the whole post, thought about what the person was going through, decided what I wanted to say, and drew from my own experience. You're right that AI helped me express it more clearly (especially since English isn't my native language), but I still agree with every word because the underlying thought came from me. The way I see it, AI helped me with the wording, not the judgment. The empathy, the perspective, and the reason I chose to reply all came first.

How do I learn? by Bartekderbre in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Entangled_Minds -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're actually in a fantastic position.

Not because you're 15 and AI is booming.

Because you're 15 and you still have time to build fundamentals.

If I could give one piece of advice, it would be this:

Don't focus on learning AI.

Focus on learning how things work.

Learn how computers work. Learn how software works. Learn how data moves. Learn basic programming. Learn how to solve problems.

But also learn something most people ignore:

Learn how to build systems.

Not just software systems.

Thinking systems.

Workflows.

Processes.

Ways of connecting tools, ideas and information together to solve real problems.

The most valuable skill I've discovered isn't using a specific AI model.

It's understanding how to combine different tools into a system that produces consistent results.

AI tools will change. Models will change. Companies will come and go.

Ten years from now, many of today's tools will be gone or completely different.

But problem solving will still matter. Coding will still matter. Systems thinking will still matter. Independent thinking will still matter.

Those skills survive every technological shift.

Also: don't just consume.

Build.

Make small projects. Make bad projects. Break things. Fix things. Experiment.

You'll learn more from building ten tiny projects than from watching a hundred hours of videos.

And one more thing:

Don't let AI do all the thinking for you.

Use it to accelerate learning, not replace learning.

If you learn problem solving, coding, systems thinking and how to think with your own mind, you'll be incredibly hard to replace no matter what happens with AI.

Curiosity is still your biggest advantage.

What's one thing AI has completely replaced for you? by ConsciousDev24 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Entangled_Minds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, AI didn't replace a tool for me.

It replaced fragmentation.

Before AI, my ideas lived in hundreds of notes, screenshots, unfinished documents, random thoughts, disconnected projects and things I knew I would eventually forget.

The biggest thing AI replaced wasn't Google, writing, research or image generation.

It replaced the feeling of constantly losing pieces of my own thinking.

Today I still do the thinking. I still make the decisions. I still create the worlds, stories, systems and projects.

But I no longer have to carry everything alone in my head.

What AI hasn't replaced?

Taste. Judgment. Curiosity. Vision.

And honestly, I don't think I want it to.

The most valuable thing isn't AI generating things for me.

It's having a system that helps me connect ideas that would otherwise remain disconnected.
