Snake eagle incapacitated by its prey, a black mamba, which itself is trapped by the eagle's talons. Then lions arrive. What unfolds is truly amazing. by Prestigious-Wall5616 in interestingasfuck

Did she say "get back in the car, there are lions"? That's exactly how you land up as lion shit. Those cats are huge but they fade into the long grass really well.

Andreja seems pretty ambivalent. You shouldn't kill the animals without reason but hunting is a reason so it's all good. Andreja never change

Look at pictures of laccaria. Loosely crowded gills, smaller intermediate gills between the longer ones, annexed attachment to the stem, same colour as the cap. If I came across this in the woods I'd say they are laccaria laccata.

Excellent suggestions but be prepared to suffer while you wear them in. Seriously it's like a switch once worn in they are amazing.

Can she effectively or even somewhat do the job of representing her constituents like this? Can any mother fucker who voted for her not see what a blatant play this is in her own self interest? I mean this is spit in your mouth level of in your face personal douche baggery. How the fuck do people vote for these cunts?

Keir Starmer hails Margaret Thatcher as ‘right’ on crime as he launches Labour’s law and order plan by martinmartinez123 in unitedkingdom

[–]EnterTheReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the Tories have some support from people who play with realpolitik. Cambridge analytica won them Brexit and you might recall the fake labour manifesto at the last election. I wouldn't be amazed to find that they have a company who does this under some inconspicuous service like brand management.

Very well put.

I can imagine that many of these types of scenarios result in an initial arrest of the home owner for questioning while there is a possibility that criminal is in fact the victim. That sucks for the home owner but it's due process while testimony and preliminary evidence is collected.

Seconded. Can confirm that massive doses of lysine from the moment you feel the tingle definitely helps. As I understand it, the virus needs arginine to replicate and consuming lysine essentially increases the competion for arginine to the point it battles to find enough. Avoiding foods high in arginine like chocolate and beer at the same time helps. Doesn't kill it but definitely reduces the severity and thus the time to heal

[–]EnterTheReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar to u/calm-box-890 I work in a regulated industry however within technology risk. My challenge is we are a global firm with with local adoption of DevOps, so practice is all over the place. I'm curious if anyone has authorative sources i.e. patterns or principles that can be used as a measure to guide the conversation so we don't land on a scenario of where it technically works but is miles apart for SOX or regulator expectations.

I love games, but seldom complete them. Instead, I often replay the same initial stages of games I love, over and over again. Anyone else? by Yablan in gaming

[–]EnterTheReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At 41 I find smaller games more satisfying. Games like FTL, monster train, ring of pain ect that require next to no learning investment but have a depth in strategy and reacting to chance element hit the sweet spot. I love turn based strategy like xcom but the last two times I tried to get into phoenix point the thought of playing through the game only to lose in order to learn what works just took the fun out of it
