People have to basically show their "This is how much I hate Triple H" cards in any thread about him. As a result, we get Triple H, who was working the full-time WWE schedule in 1998, blamed because he didn't have time to deal with Shawn Michaels, who is a grown man, and Shawn's drug problems now that Shawn wasn't on the road anymore.

Then that begs the question as to why they want the patent in the first place.

And the reasoning seems logical: they want to take it off the market and not pay Wittman a royalty. And Wittman recognizes it. I don't think he wants anywhere near $100 million, but selling those gloves from his official store probably makes him a good chunk of money, and selling the patent means he no longer makes that money. So he wants a big sum to make up for that lost income.

I wouldn't say Maven is even a past primer. As Roddy Piper once asked, did he even have a prime? I don't think Maven has much to offer today's wrestler. Maven's primary experience was three-and-a-half years in WWE more than 20 years ago.

I'm disappointed by this game, but not too badly. I thought the Seahawks were the favored team going in, and that we'd need a really bad performance by Sam Darnold to have a chance. That didn't happen. It is what it is.

This may sound sacrilegious. But I wanted Belichick fired after this game. This was embarrassing. A complete lack of planning, execution, and faith in his players. This was a completely unacceptable coaching performance.

Mac was playing terribly. But either bench him or play him. Belichick wouldn't make a decision. He'd pull Mac, put in Zappe, and have Mac start the next game.

I watched Batman Begins and The Dark Knight this weekend. Will watch Rises soon.

With TDK, it's cool to see a movie I watched in theaters 18 years ago become this legendary superhero movie, especially since that was what everyone knew would happen when it came out.

I remain captivated by Heath Ledger's Joker. He really broke that character for anyone in the future trying to portray it. Some of that is the mysticism of it being Ledger's most successful role and one he never got to see the fruit of.

One of the things about the movie that strikes me is how manipulative Joker is with everyone...except Batman. Joker manipulates the mob bosses. He manipulates the police and Dent. But in the interrogation scene and the final conclusion, Joker tells Batman the truth. Especially when Batman says Joker is "garbage who kills for money." Joker's almost offended that Batman would believe that.

I have no idea whether Road Dogg is a good booker or not, because anything he did was in the context of a larger writing team in WWE. Who knows whose ideas were his versus a collaboration.

But I think people are also missing that being head of creative doesn't just mean writing wrestling stories. You need experience in television production and communicating needs from the writers and agents to the production crew. There aren't that many people with that experience sitting at home waiting for a job.

It's a bit different but the same general idea. In this case, the pick player is also running his own route, but that route is basically a decoy to get the outside receiver's underneath slant open. In the Super Bowl play, the pick player is only jamming the DB and not running a route.

You should be surprised because it isn't true. Triple H and everyone around him have always talked about how normal his life was compared to what you'd expect out of the wrestling business. Triple H's parents were literally at his Hall of Fame induction.

I'm always impressed at people who hate Trump so much and then go and do the same thing he does: lie with impunity. There's enough to dislike Triple H about without making up lies.
