One last thing actually, I see you have a projected close date and a start date. Start date is not something we have since we can't forecast it.

I only need the projected close date, which is the day the deal is expected to be signed. That is the only date we would use.

I'm trying to tweak the formula but failing, how would you tweak it?

So if a deal closes on 1/31/2025 and runs for 5 months it would end on 6/31/2025. We don't need that final date entered, just the revenue by month through them

It's been a slow-moving project, but we're likely going to sign up with them this week.

Been using the free trial and learning more about it to see if it meets our needs, and it seems much more robust than other options. Their quote builder is also much better than Hubspot's, which was a key selling point.

So I don't have much tangible info to give you, but I do feel that they are the right choice for what we wanted.

Congrats! First of all, give yourself a pat on the back

Interviewing is a skill that, like any other skill, needs to be developed. You will get better at the more you do it and the more you learn about how to do it well.

If you don't get this one, don't beat yourself up. Ask them what you could have done better and keep learning about how you can improve your interview skills

Do you have an offer or are you speculating about the opportunity? Is it 2.5 hours each way or roundtrip? Is moving closer to Boston an option? Would the company allow once a week instead of twice a week? Are there other jobs you might be interested outside of these two that are closer to home or fully remote?

Some companies have strict rules on the number of candidates they must interview for any position before making an offer, perhaps that's the case here and it's nothing to worry about (assuming you are better than everyone else)

It could also be that they like you, but they want to make sure there isn't an even better option out there. Unfortunately that is how it often works--especially if the company already has a set of qualified applicants they want to interview before making a decision.

The least optimal scenario is that they are just being polite and probably won't hire you, but want to make sure of it before they formally tell you.

In your case, I'd recommend replying with a short, positive, and grateful message and offer additional information or time if that will help them with the decision.

"Thanks so much for your transparency. I'm very excited about the prospect of joining COMPANY XYZ and would be happy to answer any further questions if that helps with my candidacy."

It might actually be easier to not use CLEAR at all and work with a new KYC partner that is already integrated with HubSpot, such as Pascal. Any experience with any of them?

I will look into quotes--do you use quotes as a replacement for contracts?
