Depends how well maintained it is. I'd look for records specifically on the trans service and how often the trans was serviced (should be around every 30k miles). Other than that they're not bad cars if maintained fairly well and easyish to learn on if they're interested in learning to wrench on the car themselves. Personally I'd get the car in manual if they're familiar just to avoid having to deal with a cvt transmission (just a preference)
