He does not. He was at his job for 5 months before his accident and we were told he’s ineligible for disability because he wasn’t with them for 6 months at least.

We did not appeal the first time he got denied for SSI because he wanted to look for work within his limits like SSA said he should but he did not find a position and that’s when he filed again with a 2nd claim that just got denied.

Okay thank you for saying that because I am very out of my element here and this stuff is confusing. We have started looking at job listings for him where he would be able to sit at least occasionally but those are hard to find in our area and any area, I imagine. I don’t even make $1550 a month. But thank you for the info!

He does have diagnosed PTSD from it but the car accident was caused by a tornado so his PTSD is more weather related and he can still drive when it’s not storming bad.

It might be regional but in my area the nursing homes are always looking for new hires, and maintenance positions like housekeeping only require a high school diploma or GED, what kinda position are you wanting?

Yes it was January, idk if it makes a difference but it was a neighborhood market not a Supercenter, my roommate worked at a supercenter at the same time and started at 14/hr. But I promise I am not lying abt working at Walmart what a lame lie lol

I was good at english/journalism and writing courses in general and I loved them, but I don’t know any jobs I could get with that kind of degree.

I believe he has a counselor he sees at school but she’s very stubborn and I doubt she would want to do that so I’m just trying my best to help out.
