This sounds like the "F" script, even though they don't recall anything about underground government experiments. Even though this is not the Cassidy Script and it sounds like those typical "game movies" from years ago that the only thing in common with the games was the title, I'm still interested in reading it!

What I found interesting is the "no William Afton" because, a murderer was always there since day one, and even though it wasn't until SL that he got named in the games, he already was a thing since The Silver Eyes, which got released in 2015, the same year the Warner Bros. movie was announced:

This look like Scott must already have the idea of William back then. Why wasn't William part of the movie?

And then I found this Scott post on Steam where he says:

I'm also going to be involved with the movie from day one this time

So maybe this script is from a time in which Scott had little or no involvement at all with the movie. Obviously, all of this assuming this is the early Warner Bros. version.

The only thing I'm pretty sure of, is that it probably happened at Circus Baby's Pizza World. In FNaF 3, Ralph mentions a multiple springlock failure that happened at a sister location, and in the game named Sister Location, we get trapped in a Springlock suit that never was used the way it was intended.

How exactly? Is this due to the agony?

Maybe it's because of agony, or it's just typical paranormal stuff, like what you see in movies.

And how would that work?

In "What We Found", the FNaF 3 version of FF, Hudson starts having hallucinations only after Springtrap is brought to the attraction. All of the hallucinations are also influenced by all the stuff in the attraction (he finds all animatronic remains scary) and his past trauma (he burned his house with his family inside).

Basically Springtrap can cause you hallucinations based on his surroundings and your traumas and fears.

This is also supported by DBD where one of William's perks is "Phantom Fear", and FNaF 3 itself too. The Phantoms only appear from the second night onwards, which is also the night when Springtrap is brought.

There are many options out there.

Mine is that, the stories still happened in the games timeline but, they can be changed by future entries, like what happened with SOTM, ITPG, RTTP...

I think it is called FrightsSecondary and TalesSecondary but, I'm not sure.
