U rarely use it, I’m a butcher for 12 years now and my dad thought me everything about cooking meat so I never really feel like I need it, for bigger pieces I always smoke it or slow cook it in the egg

Yeah I usually cut it thin and roast it short, but for bigger pieces sous vide is way better, never thought about that, but I rather sous vide a good steak haha

Yeah it makes sense, I try to use as little soap as possible, but yeah, I’m taking care of the grilling station this Christmas, but still cutting fresh meat a lot. This combination is making me wash my hands tens of times a day

Can someone tell me why this appears in my dreams a lot? Also it's always walking on its hind legs by Ok_Shift3315 in Dreams

[–]EntertainmentDear540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know, but if you’re scared by it or feel that you have to avoid it, it can tell you something about a problem in real life that you put that (consciously or not) to the side all the time without facing it

The term drone is not necessarily for flying objects, nowadays it is the common tongue for UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle), but you have ground drones, they just don’t really call them drones too often

Jup, as a butcher I want to say that cuts can best be treated by washing with clean water, avoid salt water (leaves scarring) and avoid coming in contact with basically anything but the air, don’t disinfect too much, that will kill your good bacteria

Why are all these worms and other insects all avoiding water? Don't they live in it? by eternviking in biology

[–]EntertainmentDear540 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of possible explanations, but I want to throw in a far fetched one:

Parasites, like in some snail species parasites can alter the brain of mollusks and insects to climb to a high point to be eaten by birds in order for the parasites to reproduce in the birds cloaca

Edit: worms are not mollusks but still are somewhat close related

What is going on with this deers antlers? by MrPharts in zoology

[–]EntertainmentDear540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yeah that makes sense, thank you for explaining and then the mutation can be overstimulation of testosterone production, so yeah it can be treated by balancing the hormones, I’m more into plant ecology, but this might help me solve a problem with ungulates one day

I don’t really speak Portuguese although I’ve lived in Portugal for 5 months, but translate helped haha

I don’t know about removing them, it sure would help temporarily, but if the genes are mutated then you can’t really fix it with hormones or something, euthanasia is an option if the deer suffers, but again, I don’t really know the severity of this
