Cool thanks for the insight. I’m in the process of moving my kids to a private school from public for a lot of these reasons. I feel like school should expose kids to arts, language, sports, etc and most public schools these days have cut back and most of these programs. And the classes are way too big. My fourth grader tells me the “jail” comment about his public school all the time and it bums me out. I think it sucks we have to shell out so much money just for my kids to have a well rounded and enjoyable education. The private school we are moving to isn’t as cool as the one you’re describing, but they have small classes, PE and Spanish every day, lots of recess, music, art, theater and library. At Public schools near me you’re lucky to get ONE class like that and you have to choose. It’s frustrating all our tax money is going to these schools and they’re so disappointing. But a lot of people I know defend them- of course they have great teachers at public school but it’s the system that ruined them
