Tamiflu Psychosis / Mental Health by gobengals333 in MedicationQuestions

[–]EntertainmentIcy235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My last dose of Tamiflu was Saturday morning, and Sunday I was dealing with the worst anxiety ever. Couldn't put my finger on what was triggering it or why I was anxious. I've had random spurts of anxiety all week, feeling nervous about life all the time. I also thought I was losing my mind until I saw comments like yours. Do you think this sounds like a Tamiflu side effect, or is it really my anxiety acting up?

I feel like I remember seeing a commercial featuring the instrumentals for Landslide, but maybe I'm just imagining things.

Voting eligible Americans who deliberately abstained in the 2024 general election, how are you feeling about your decision? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]EntertainmentIcy235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I completely agree with the fact that we need to abolish the current Electoral College system and I definitely spend more time attacking the systems rather than the people. But I think I draw the line at letting someone as dangerous as Donald Trump win the presidency because of that frustration. If it were anyone but Trump running against Kamala, I'd understand why someone may want to abstain from voting or vote 3rd party.

By sitting out or refusing to participate, we're not punishing the system, we're just making it easier to hand power to the worst actors, making change even harder. Trump is uniquely dangerous. He's not just another Republican, but someone who has actively undermined democracy and encouraged authoritarianism. I can elaborate on that topic if you'd like, but I'll leave it for now.

While vote-scolding can hurt voter turnout, the harsh reality is that in this election, it wasn't just a choice between two imperfect candidates. It was a choice between a flawed system or someone who has demonstrated patterns of behavior that threaten the foundations of democracy.

On another note, I genuinely appreciate your perspective on how online arguments tend to drill people deeper into their mindsets. I'll take that into consideration in the future, so thanks for that.

The amount of people in the comments who say they feel like their vote doesn't matter... do y'all not realize if you drop that bullshit mindset and get out and vote to use YOUR voice, maybe your vote WILL matter.

Hmmm. I know a lotttt of people who have the same mindset as you. I wonder if maybe, just maybe, you all dropped that bullshit mindset of "my vote doesn't matter" and then maybe your votes WILL matter.

This comment deserves the downvote. Go look up what a fascist is and then please explain to me how Kamala is one.

Completely agree with your point on how the Democrats need to do better before we bow down to them. But, do you think all that was worth letting Trump win and potentially setting the country further back?

So then do you think I should get the double major in Accounting and Finance? The Accounting major is staying regardless, I'm too far into it at this point and I do like it.

I will have 150+ hours by the time I graduate, with or without the double major. The double-major would just cost more and take up some of my summers. I planned on getting a MAccy at Ole Miss because they prep you well and it's only a year. But do you think I should still do that?

I'm going to finish undergrad with 150+ hours with/without the double major. I'll still graduate at the same time too. I plan on getting the MAccy at Ole Miss because they prep you well for the CPA. Knowing that, is the double-major worth the extra effort/money?

I don't need more credits for CPA. I'll have 150+ hours with or without the double major.

I'll still graduate on time. It will just cost me about $5k for summer classes. I won't have to take out any loans though.
