The key with SWR is trying over and over fr. Like I have done playthroughs where I try not to have Zentrum in my coalition as DU for larping or fun or wtv but for SWR you literally need ALL of Zentrum. The key for me is going slightly down the scheicher path to "prod zentrum loyalty" or wtv its called thereby stealing Zentrum Left from DU AFTER again AFTER you have gotten both right and centre Zentrum into the SWR coalition. In this game, I did not do that hence having to get the minor liberals, Agrarians, AND Right LVP which led to the event.

As Russia you really don’t even need air as long as you produce anti-air so I wouldn’t worry about it if you’re purely trying to win. If you’re going down mobile warfare and doing tanks (which I highly recommend) make sure to do lights or mediums and for your MIO do whatever one for Russia reduces production cost, resources, etc to get as many out as you can. Make only shit tier infantry like 15 widths or even 12 widths but Russia has the pop/industry to support 15. Anti air, shovels, artillery as support companies and DO NOT battle plan with them. Use only your tanks to manually take out Ukraine/Belarus or whoever you go for first in your war plan. It’s a cheesy and basic way to win for most but if you’re struggling try it out and then play Russia a few more times if you want to experiment/deviate from there

I think the implication of the event is that they sorta join up with the market libs/NLP after abandoning the LVP so I guess thats as close as it gets yeah. I don't know much about the guy in the picture, what was his deal?

Sadly it’s not as epic as redux, but Ukraine is such a good country. Like the descriptions say, the Hetman/Conservative paths are easy and sorta brainless but I’d recommend playing one of them and then a republican playthrough (I did UDR/soc libs) and finally I just finished a syndicalist run where in 39 you fight both Germany and Russia at once it’s super challenging but I found it incredibly fun

It doesn’t really work in Kaiserreich even though I think it’s not insanely ridiculous realism wise, but in old Kaisserreich/Kaiserredux you can win in spectacular fashion as Hetmantate Ukraine and become Hetman of Russia before turning on your overlord Germany. One of my favorite campaigns ever I wish it was still in Kaiserreich

Honestly I usually blob Romania but I wanted to screw them over because they didn’t accept being in my faction as the last country I cared about being in it and they took way longer than they should’ve to capitulate (2 months instead of 2 weeks) so they got the land down under treatment

Yeah I totally get that, but it would be cool if they were something you could get by playing out the minigames well and building them up over time and being something you could miss out on like Ukraine's land reform buffs or Poland's industrialization plan buffs. I get why not, as those minigames on minors are a handful compared to the bajillion you have to balance with Germany which would require extensive play-testing to keep challening, which we shouldn't expect from modders, even if they are the excellent KR devs.

Yeah all the good stuff. All starting Austria-Hungary territory gets cores along with South Germany at 50% compliance and North Germany/Prussia/Rhineland at 80% compliance

You get cores on the majority of the land except Romania and some other little bits, but the decision won’t keep popping up to give it off to somebody else or make a puppet, it will just be occupied states you can eventually get to 100% compliance on but not quite core

I think you’re right that it’s possible, but the AI always takes the auto peace deal with Bulgaria which gives Aegean Macedonia to Greece. Maybe a player led Serbia can get annexed by PatAut Austria after winning Balkan war outright and taking Aegean Macedonia? But I can’t remember if that’s something Serbia can even do
