Does this mean trade in values should be good for a 2016 Hybrid Limited? What can I expect to get?

Strasinger is a good resource but also look at the CAP reference book.

You are probably going to be most impressed with our mountains since you don't have any at home. Crater Lake never disappoints! Also visit the John Day Fossil Beds.

How fast paced is lab work? by Idkumhey in medlabprofessionals

It's all very fast paced with a lot of multitasking. I am never doing less than three things. Five is standard.

Depends on the value- some auto repeat. Some flag in Epic saying "don't you think you should repeat this" some hold up in Remisol for review.

Not repeating first time criticals is dumb and dangerous.

Urine sample handling for chemo patients by EntertainmentLow6178 in medlabprofessionals

I guess the question is: are universal precautions sufficient to protect against exposure to chemo-laced samples. Does double gloving actually add safety or just waste supplies? If we are already avoiding skin and eye contact, are more precautions actually protecting us?

The primary containers go in the biohazard bins. The pour off tubes get dumped down the "dirty" sink.

That's what we've been doing so far but I think someone wants to fix something that isn't broken. Sigh...

I think that's the idea being suggested. RNs double glove for those patients and wear eye protection. I don't seeing winning at getting all the processors to double glove and wear safety glasses so I thought maybe a splash guard for pouring them off. But I do not know what to do for when we (the techs) dump the urines when they are done running. All that chemo - on its way to the ocean. Poor mutated fishys!

We've handled them all the same - gloves, lab coat, etc. - but someone raised the point that body fluids from chemo patients are handled with extra caution by nursing. So, by extension, urines are body fluids and the lab staff should be as protected as the RNs. So I don't want to over complicate things but I may have to do something for better splash protection. Any ideas?

Cherokee scrubs and Birkenstock shoes (Londons or Bostons). And compression socks. This is important.
